Since we’re teetering on the precipice of no return, other games are beginning to interest me as much.
Ravens play at Cincy so they’ll get to 7-2 Steelers play LAR so they can get to 5-4
"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Cooper is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Moore is flanked out wide to the right. Chubb and Ford are split in the backfield as Watson takes the snap ... Here we go."

On Thursday night football the referee just made a confusing call ending it with "los angeles'" ball and first down.
Dealing with the raiders and chargers, I don't immediately know anymore who the heck is "los angelas" which team.
It reminds me of a thought I had previously months ago.
I think someone, maybe Goodell had a dream and there are suddenly 36 teams in "los angelas" and no teams in any other cities
Yet somehow we'd still see only New York play against New York on Monday Nights.
The league's gone bonkers.

Derek Carr is the most frightening quarterback I've ever seen play.
What I mean is,
That he may be just an average quarterback, but back in the depth of some subconscious if you had to face him in the Super Bowl, and match up against him, on his best day, his one in a million day.
That on that one day, Derek Carr would be the best performing quarterback to ever play the game, and no other person ever to play the game, (if having also their best day) would be a match for Derek Carr on that day.
That's why I say he's the most frightening quarterback I've ever seen play in the NFL.
Can Deshaun Watson play better for the Browns, than Baker Mayfield would have? ... Now the Games count.

The Chargers are a great example of a team that got its teeth kicked in but kept fighting.

I made fun of Jon Gruden a lot. I wish we had a coach that could run an offense like him.

The Raiders move to 5-4 and we can't beat a bad Broncos team with all that "talent." Oy vay.

Raiders win .. they have a legit shot at a WC spot, along with the team we’re playing Sunday

Leadership. Everything the Browns lack. Spot on. I'm not sure if I even blame the Haslams anymore. They brought in an established GM. He brought in an established, well respected staff. They gave the GM control. What I think happens when people come to the Browns is they become intoxicated by the chance of being the hero that turns around the worst franchise in professional sports. Then they get cute and lose their minds. They not only want to be the hero, they want to prove how smart they are. It becomes about them and putting themselves before the Cleveland Browns. This is currently happening to Dorsey. It already happened to Freddie. It's very clear Freddie puts himself before the team. The team's actions reflect their leaders actions. They put themselves first. The product on the field is the result. And all of this goes back to culture. To all those calling for Freddie's head since the beginning, I said patience and perspective is important. I apologize to those people. I don't know how the Browns can maintain this course for long-term success. All of the things that have happened under Freddie's watch have been bad, including the regression of several players - Mayfield, Ogunjobi, Randall, Bitonio, Ward - and the lack of development of up and coming players - Higgins, Avery. The lack of discipline, in game decisions, etc. I can't really think of one good thing. Then he talks down to the media about how coaches are teachers and to stop overreacting. It all goes back to culture. I think Freddie should actually be fired now. There is no accountability in the Browns organization. Someone needs to make a statement that this is not acceptable. I just recently heard an interview with Cowher on one of the Cleveland sports talk shows. Lure this guy out of retirement. Give him the Gruden treatment then get the hell out of the way.

I think the decision has already been made. It's just a matter of waiting until the end of the year or after a terrible loss.

Then they should get on with it.
Push Jimmy out of any football decisions. Put Dee and Depo in charge of coaching search. Make Dorsey report to Dee. Dorsey can participate in coaching search but new coach will report to Dee. Dorsey does not get to choose the coach. He had his chance.
Again, Dorsey does not get to choose the new coach.

Again, Dorsey does not get to choose the new coach. They very well may have already gotten on with it by talking to potential hires behind the scenes. Stefanski! Actually, after this trainwreck, I doubt they go with a never-been HC.

At this point I am not concerned what the Bengals, Steelers and Ravens do unless we play them, we need to start stacking some wins ...

Cardinals got screwed. Should have been a PI on the last play. No review. However, with the NFL’s stubbornness on flipping PI on review, no way they change the call. But that was defensive PI.

5 games ago, the Steelers were afraid to let Rudolph pass, but they had a plan. Now he's running the entire playbook and looking good doing it.
No one develops players like the Steelers. Rudolph was an underachieving player in college for someone that possesses the physical traits that he does. Steelers took him and built him up.
Coaching matters in the NFL. I'm jealous of the Steelers.

Wow. Steelers just got gifted a turnover for TD. That was a forward pass.

Hoyer at QB for the Colts, due to the MCL injury to Brisset last week, and he is playing Brain Hoyer football ....... 8-22 for 117 yards, and 2 INT. Oh, and the Dolphins lead the Colts 10-0.
