Homasassa/Crystal River is less than 30 miles from our front door and it really is a great place for outdoor activities of all types. Manatee tours aren't really our thing but the tour boats are packed with folks dying to cough up their money to "swim" with the manatees.
I'd rather sit outside at one of the many Guflside restaurant/bars and enjoy the beauty of this part of Florida. It is 82* with puffy white clouds against a brilliant azure blue sky. Life is good

The meat is tender and not chewy if you cleanse and prepare the meat the odor is eliminated.
