Obviously Miami is terrible ... a loss would doom any hope we have. The spread will probably be between 7-10 points I’d imagine.
Still, their offense CAN move it well at times, mostly because FItzpatrick can get into a streak some games. But their run game is atrocious when I saw it.
Predictions?
"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Jeudy is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Tillman is flanked out wide to the right. Judkins and Ford are split in the backfield as Flacco takes the snap ... Here we go."
John 3:16 Jesus said "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life."
“To announce that there must be no criticism of the President, or that we are to stand by the President, right or wrong, is not only unpatriotic and servile, but is morally treasonable to the American public.”
I think this will be closer than some, but in the end the Browns prevail.
I see 27-20, or thereabout.
Micah 6:8; He has shown you, O mortal, what is good. And what does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God.
John 14:19 Jesus said: Because I live, you also will live.
Miami has been playing better as a late, a lot of their game will depend on which Fitzpatrick shows up, the deep ball accurate, or the throw it up for grabs, Fitzy.
They are playing hard each week, and those couple wins gave them confidence, along with keeping some games close. They come ready to play and have nothing to lose.
This could be dangerous with our team, depending on how they are mentally dealing last weeks events.
We don't have to agree with each other, to respect each others opinion.
Wow. Miami has zero threat at RB. Mark Walton is now in jail for beating the crap out of a pregnant woman... Kalen Ballage has averaged 1.9 on the season with a long run of 8.
You’re right FATE, Ballage is not a good back. Their run game is invisible

No idea if any defense will show up in this game. I'm expecting a shootout and I hope that Chubb and Baker have HUGE games. Hoping the Browns aren't looking ahead to next week. Whoever has the ball last could be the winner in this one.
Browns 31, Dolphins 27
After 55 years, I'm walking away from this dumpster fire. Good luck to everyone who continues to hang on. You'll need it.
Hopefully these guys are focused on this week and not next. I’m also hoping that Freddy is going to enter the game assuming we can run up the score because that’s when we get kicked in the junk. It may not be glamorous, but I’d prefer to see a ball control offense and higher time of possession. Ground game first and foremost.
"Hey, I'm a reasonable guy. But I've just experienced some very unreasonable things." -Jack Burton
-It looks like the Harvard Boys know what they are doing after all.
We have our ways of making marginal teams look good. If we don't pull together and find our focus it bodes very poorly going forward. I really hope Baker finds some more of this mature leadership and pulls the group into formation.
I think we win but I haven't seen us play a "clean" game this year. I'll bet it's a lot closer than we like.
Browns:23 Dolphins: 20

Def. need to guard Devante Parker...may even slide help that way
Jakeem Grant is instantaneously fast...keep an eye on him on trick plays, account for him.
Allen Hurns is very average...I didn't see a lot of Albert Wilson
Balledge ran some wildcat...but man he is like TJ Duckett slow.
Fitzpatrick goes to the grown when faced with pressure...was sacked 6 times by the 3rd quarter.
Oline is incredibly weak, especially LT Davenport (Man if Myles was still around I could see him putting 3 sacks up easy)
Their FB was active for the 1st time this year (Biard or something like that) He looked good on short passes to the flat
Lbs are active for them...move around quickly.
Their secondary is full of players I've never heard of, and I do a lot of draft scouting...They have injuries there as well...Reshard Jones isn't the same player of years past.
There is no reason for us to loose this game...apply pressure and keep Devante Parker in check...They do not create much to anything for run lanes.
I think Freddie will look for some quick strike scores early and then run the ball the rest of the day. I hope Baker is on his game, or this could turn into a struggle.
If there are no TOs on our part I see a big win. 27-10
Browns should pound the ground game until they stack the box, and then use play action to hit them with deep sideline, post, and seam routes (Njoku). Then just keep them on their heels by mixing it up. On defense, we need to find ways to pressure Fitz because he's the key to them having any chance at all. I think we win 30-17.
Anybody who hasn't been paying attention to Miami should know that they have been playing hard for a team that was stripped of all big talent. Fitz has had them in most of these games and they've managed a couple of wins. Don't think this will be a cakewalk. This is a perfect trap game.
The only person who can beat the Browns this weekend is Freddie Kitchens.
The penalties have been better. Hard to say discipline has been better considering the end of the Pit game ... but I think that was a total freak incident and don't hold FK responsible for that. However the offensive play calling still SUCKS MONKEY BUTT for long stretches of the game. Truly we should have been up by 3 or 4 scores against Pittsburgh with as dominant as the D played. C'mon, get it all together!
The Party told you to reject the evidence of your eyes and ears. It was their final, most essential command.
Baker has biggest game of the year. Team galvanized over Myles incident.
I'm a little concerned that Mayfield's comments about Myles after the game might have had the opposite effect. Obviously, I have no way of knowing this, but I do recall some blowback from other veterans when Baker spoke up about Duke Johnson's absence during mini-camp. My opinion is that his comment to Erin Andrews should have been something like "I'm not going to comment on that until I see what actually happened.".

It was already reported there was some blowback.
Hopefully Baker stood in front of the team and told every single one of them if they don't like what he had to say, there's the door. It's my team. Get on board or get out.
Myles Garrett is a selfish loser with rage problems who put himself before the team and people are worried about what Mayfield had to say?
That's crazy. Mayfield was the only adult in the room.
LOL - The Rish will be upset with this news as well. KS just doesn't prioritize winning...

I can't believe you really think that ... "Its my team. Get on board or get out."??? ... "Myles Garrett is a selfish loser with rage problems who put himself before the team."???
Myles Garrett is a top 5 defensive player in football. Baker Mayfield is a second year, bottom third rated QB. Its not "his team" ... yet. You have to earn that. And as far as putting himself before the team, I think it was Baker who put his brand before the team when he kicked Myles to the curb answering a question that could have very easily been deflected.
I think most QBs have a winning record against us, especially ones that have been starting mostly since 2005....I'd be more impressed for ones that have a losing record against us lol

This is an awful take. Beyond awful.
Defending a guy who's actions were controllable, chose not to control them, and hurt the team in a major way while criticizing a guy who did none of that.
This fanbase is whack.

Browns 37-7 Miami can not stop the run I am sure we go above 5 touchdowns
Question is, in our pass happy offense, will we commit to the run

I believe I mentioned something along these lines in another thread. He has had our number for the most part. I honestly don't know who to pick in this game
