I was a lot more realistic than people thing...most of that was an Imperative to counter act all the negative posting going on. But my Island got lonelier and lonelier as the years wore on. Until it was like that PPE illustrative

That is so so important and why I hope to see him back there this week for all the kickoffs and punts! Then we can have some REAL Expectations for him making the roster! But its an obvious if he doesn't go out there until the 4th quarter than how can we expect him to make the roster???

Has he played any WR yet? Yes, DSG could make the team as a return specialist but he not only has to be good, he has to be SOOOOO good, that it's worth devoting a roster spot to it (assuming they have no plans to use him in a sub role at WR)..
He has to be much better than option 2 and 3 in order to commit a roster spot to a return specialist.

Perception is reality, ????, I think things like this are already mostly decieded long before we want to admit they are, and it really comes down to how the decision makers look at/feel about these guys.
FWIW, in my mind:
Ratley and Strong, were the bubble guys
Sheehy and Willies were the in guys at 2nd-3rd string.
Callaway and Higgans were the backup starters, ( Callaway ahead, then Higgans and Perriman slightly behind, is what I thought before the OBJ trade)
And OBJ and Landry were the starting starters, but I coulda seen Perriman here before OBJ came on board.
To be honest, it probably doesn't really matter, too much.
Can Deshaun Watson play better for the Browns, than Baker Mayfield would have? ... Now the Games count.

FWIW, in my mind:
Ratley and Strong, were the bubble guys
I agree on Ratley due to his injury and missing time. But, Strong has had a really good camp. I think he is close to securing a spot. Haven't heard a lot about Willies for a bit, but he too has had some stellar moments. I think Sheehy is bubble as is Montgomery. Sheehy may squeeze in if he has more moments like he did against the Skins. BUT, again...he did that run back against many/most guys who probably wont make the team.

Ratley has to have a good few weeks/games IMO to make the roster. Strong has a much better shot

I'm happy for him.. Hope it all works out... hopefully, he finds himself back in the NFL.... I agree my friend. He is a marginal NFL player. I am glad he will make some money balling and and glad he can still cling to the dream. I like these XFL leagues that keep trying to pop up. It gives business people a chance to make some money and gives these fringe players a platform to maybe make the grade. Before you really had a major league in baseball, it was club team after club team. Some were able to sell tickets and play the players. That is how it started. Same with the NFL. We didn't wake up one day with a American and National League. It evolved in to that.

I agree,, in a way, it works as a minor league to the NFL.. In fact, that's the way they should set it up..
It's a good way to find players that are fringe, but with an upside. Gives them a chance to grow and hone their skills.
I like that kinda thing as well.
