Sounds to me like Connor is out. Juju may work his way back for Sunday?

Add: I'm mostly just starting this so there's a place to add throughout the week. Really hoping for Vernon to magically heal up.

Juju will be back this week, Conner most likely not.

Vernon would be huge for us, though I doubt he’s back

I dont expect vernon back until the 2nd to last game of the season. I keep hearing reports on radio he may not play again at all. I have no link because I only hear it on radio. Browns are not saying much about him

JuJu Smith-Schuster (knee) is still sporting a brace Wednesday and isn't expected to practice.

The knee, rather than the concussion, appears to be what is keeping JuJu off the field this week. After missing last week against the Bengals, JuJu is looking questionable at best to face the Browns this Sunday.

Olivier Vernon was practicing today.

Browns LT Greg Robinson is in the league's concussion protocol.

Robinson is Pro Football Focus' No. 57 tackle out of 76 qualifiers. His struggles are well documented. If Robinson is unable to gain clearance in time to face the Steelers, veteran Justin McCray will get the start in his place.

Sometimes people fail to realize the impact of going from poor to terrible at the LT position can be.

Crap.....yeah....greg is t exactly great but what we have behind him is alot worse.

The Steelers began preparation for Sunday’s game against the Cleveland Browns, and started the week once again without a few key players on offense.

JuJu Smith-Schuster (knee/concussion) and James Conner (shoulder) didn’t practice. Both players were injured in the first game against the Browns and missed last week’s game against the Bengals. In addition, cornerback Artie Burns (knee) also didn’t practice after missing Sunday’s game against the Bengals.

“I don’t know what their status will be (for the game) as I stand here,” said Coach Mike Tomlin during his weekly press conference on Tuesday. “We’ll go through our normal procedures in terms of looking at those guys and seeing if they’re good enough to participate in practice and then go from there. But I don’t have a lot of clarity as I’m standing here regarding those three men.”

With Conner out last week the running game was a mix of players, including Benny Snell who came back from a knee injury and carried the ball 21 times for 98 yards in the team’s 16-10 win.

“I can’t say enough about the contributions of Benny Snell coming back off of a knee injury,” said Tomlin. “Young guys coming off an injury and performing to expectations is a really good thing. I thought he did that. I thought he was a catalyst for some positivity in the run game.”

The team also relied on newly signed Kerrith Whyte, who had six carries for 43 yards, as well as Jaylen Samuels and Trey Edmunds for the ground game to get rolling.

Alejandro Villanueva was limited in practice with a shoulder injury.

Connor was a limited practice participant today ...

If Juju is still out tomorrow he won’t play obviously

Just heard on a radio report ... Smith-Shuster is out Sunday and Conner is doubtful.

Also, Olivier Vernon and Greg Robinson are still questionable, but apparently the Browns are somewhat optimistic at least about Vernon playing.

Any update on Robinson? Has he cleared protocol?

If we can't beat the Steelers with their 3rd string QB, 3rd string RB and 3rd string WR we don't deserve to make the playoffs.

Also, they are without Pouncey, but we'll have Ogunjobi back this week.
