Intoducing for The Cleveland Browns, Quarterback Deshawn "The Predator" Watson. He will also be the one to choose your next head coach.

We need a computer who can get plays in at least 15 seconds before the clock expires.

Don't mind at all that this thread was started but I can't help but think how nice it would be if we were talking about who we'll be playing in the playoffs instead of who we should be taking in the draft 4 months from now. That would be a nice change from the last 20 years!!!

We are mathematically out of the playoffs going into the last game of the season, so that is better than recent memory. Time to start thinking about next year ...

I think it's pathetic, but that's just my opinion. As if anyone they draft would make a significant difference on a team that can't coach, can't keep a roster together, and can't get the most out of the players that join the team anyway.
Also, as long as some computer can tell you you got all A plusseses, what does that have to do with anything the Browns should do, but only you tooting your own horn. Also, after 25 years of following drafts, one thing I'm certain of, it doesn't really matter, It certainly doesn't matter what they do on December 26th, to what their April draft picks are going to do on the team next year.
Really, I don't have much appreciation for a new breed of Browns fans that want to make more of what happens in the offseason than what happens when the games are being played on the field, or who constantly want to lose games... Or "talk about" the losing of games to improve the "slot" of a draft selection next offseason,
When It Doesn't Even Really Matter, except for maybe one of the top 1-5 picks anyway.

We'd still be shy a DeForest Buckner, but we'd have a DLine close to what the 49ers have.

10-Andrew Thomas, OT Georgia
41-Julian Okwara, EDGE Notre Dame
74-Kyle Dugger, S Lenoir-Rhyne
90-Tyler Biadasz, IOL Wisconsin
105-K.J. Hill, WR Ohio State
167-Raequan Williams, IDL Michigan State
221-Francis Bernard, LB Utah
Here is my first attempt this year. Although if Isaiah Simmons is available at 10 I am running to the podium with that pick and hoping to hit on a tackle in the 2nd.

I like Wirfs as well. And I am thinking one OT in FA and one in the draft. Why do you see him above the others available?

Michael Divinity Jr. , EDGE LSU I could live with that draft 10 feels high for a guy whose best fit might be at RG in a power scheme. If we had tackles, that wouldn't be a bad thing. I think he lives on the reputation of what he was supposed to be more than what he is. He's a lot like Scherff whose weightlifting records he broke. A good, well-coached player, but his limitations on the edge will show up more at the next level. Even their names are similar but the 'S' is on the opposite end.

I only did four rounds, and I couldn't do any trades, so this is just what fell to me:
10 Tristan Wirfs, OT Iowa
41 J.K. Dobbins, RB Ohio State
74 Malik Harrison, LB Ohio State
90 Kyle Dugger, S Lenoir-Rhyne
105 Solomon Kindley, IOL Georgia
I've gotta say, ending up with Dobbins to pair with Chubb sounds even better than Hunt.

one more because these sites make it so easy to do multiples:
10 K'Lavon Chaisson, EDGE LSU 41 Cesar Ruiz, IOL Michigan 74 Malik Harrison, LB Ohio State 90 Tyler Biadasz, IOL Wisconsin 105 Trey Adams, OT Washington
All the better OT were gone before 10 and rather than reach for a need, I took BPA that fit a need and tried to find an OT later.

Fanspeak On the Clock Link Copy and pasting the picks doesn't want to work from my phone for some reason. 7 rounds, no trades Wills, OT, Bama McKinney, S, Bama Dugger, S, D-II (thinking coverage LB) Charles, OT, LSU Jackson, CB, Nebraska Asiasi, TE, UCLA Highsmith, Edge, Charlotte

Seems like all you guys are forgetting TE until the late rounds. I see this as almost as big a need as OT.

Plus, I'm high on Asiasi and think the analysts haven't spent a ton of time on him yet. The rest of UCLA's offense just left a lot to be desired, so his numbers aren't great. I expect Asiasi to rise some once the analysts go to the tape.

I also think TE is a huge need. A lot will depend on who we eye in FA though, too

I also think TE is a huge need. A lot will depend on who we eye in FA though, too I think it is a need, but how large of a need is debatable. It kinda hinges on what Stefanski and crew think of Njoku & guys we've had around like Seals-Jones. I actually wouldn't be averse to trading Njoku and then pursuing a more balanced TE with better hands.

I actually wouldn't be averse to trading Njoku and then pursuing a more balanced TE with better hands. Selling when Njoku's value is lowest doesn't sound like something guys with economics degrees who like analytics would do. Particularly when he's effectively one of Berry's guys. Plus, he's still only 23. It could happen, but I expect with other bigger needs, they'll at least see how he looks with the new coaching staff that the Ivy Leaguers who drafted him pretty much all along wanted.

That depends on whether or not you expect the value to ever go higher than it currently is, and by how much & how soon. It could be felt that he has greater value as a draft pick or part of a package to move up or even a player-for-player deal (maybe to acquire an OT or OG... like, to NY to get Zeitler, lol).
That said, with how young he is and how much upside/potential everyone will still see in him, I do not expect him to be traded.... but, I wouldn't be opposed to it if he were.

I like my OSU WRs as well as the next guy, but I don't think we need them as much as we do other things.
Between Montgomery hopefully coming back healthy and Hodge and Ratley developing, along with expected increased usage of a fullback, I'm not sure how much value we'd be getting from our 3rd (likely at best) wideout.
Hodge is already a good Gunner on special teams so I expect he'll be back since he's an ERFA and showed upside and value.
Don't hate the mock, just commenting.
I need to watch Blacklock.

Key word " All around Fullback " ! But what does that mean? I todays NFL you either want a blocker or somebody who can catch 30 and run the ball 12 times a year. We just signed a guy...why not him? I have said it before. I prefer two running weapons in the backfield.

I'm not sure why you can't have an all around fullback ? Billy boy up in New England seems to find them ; the 49'ers seem to have a good one .. Just some that come to mind . I don't except the premise that you ave can on;=ly have a blocking or a catching TE either .. Ain't easy to find but thrie out there..
