Detroit got more publicity than we did last year...hell, the Yankees are STILL considered the favorites despite us having a better record and better pitching. How come baseball fans nationally aren't throwing their support behind us like they did 10 years ago?
How come you haven't? Why should the national media when you jumped ship?

You have publicly in the past stated you were no longer a Tribe fan and that you changed affiliations to the Yankess and layed out a list of reasons why.
Along with stating being a Rams fan and then an Eagles fan and then a Browns fan.

To me, the term "fan" is subjective.
For example, I'm a Rams fan, a Colts fan and an Eagles fan.
But any time they play my Browns, I want the Browns to suck the life out of them.
I love my Indians and I love my Cavaliers, but if they have a down year, I can go without watching them. In fact, I'll refuse to watch in protest.
But the Browns could be 0-16, and I'd still come back and watch the next Sunday barking viciously, throwing dog biscuits at Bengals and Steelers fans telling them they're not half as good as Browns fans.
I say a fan is anyone who follows a team, but the amount of a fan you are can be measured.

Now you have also said that you became a Yankees fan. Do you deny that? We can only judge you by what you post. You may always be a tribe fan but that is not what you say publicly.

Dont remember if it was on this board or the original Dawgtalk, but he flat out posted for everyone saying that he was officially no longer a Tribe fan and that he "switched" teams and was a Yankees fan. He then went on to tell us how much more the owner cares and why the Yankees are better. Typical Ammo stuff.

Maybe the Tribe finally apologized to him.

He can wear his Kenny Lofton jersey all he wants, but we all know the Tribe is just a few losses away from him putting his Yankees hat back on.

so far they haven't shown me they are in the same class as the Yankees and Red Sox. Good luck to them. I really hope I'm wrong but I can't get to excited about this.
I guess you never looked at the records of all three of those teams this year If the Yankees or the Red Sox were any better than the Tribe this year their records would show it. The FACT is that neither of them are better than we are.
The FACT that the Tribe went 2-11 against them has no bearing on reality, eh? The Indians have lost one less game then the Sox...
yeah, i mean the cavs 2-0 season sweep of the san antonio spurs really meant the world in the playoffs...
they were shaking in their boots as they kicked our rear ends up and down the court...
this is a totally different team now, then they were then
can the yankees beat the indians? absolutely...
but the tribe should win, just based on the fact that their starting pitching is superior...
and if they get the yankees in a short series, i really like their chances...
i don't know, the yankees just don't scare me at all, that team is just not built properly, and they certainly are not built for october...
the other thing is, i think the assumption that we're getting the yankees is a bit much right now, the sox could melt down like someone mentioned, but don't forget, the tribe is one or two losses from falling out of first place in the AL and drawing boston...
i guess that's what you get for having the best record in baseball, the red sox or the yankees.
but hey, gotta go through them anyways... and boy would it make me smile to ruin espn's day by making sure they don't meet up in the ALCS, which is what they want, obviously.

My apologies iambrown, I know you are a BoSox fan and of course you aren't an idiot. I just.... hate the Red Sox now... which is odd because I always kind of rooted for them in the AL, (I was an Expos fan). I was was glad they won a WS in 04 after all the heartbreak in '75, and '86 especially, but Boston sports fans have had too much success.

The NYY are never an easy win and if they take the last wildcard, won't they be playing Cleveland in the first round?
Playing the Tribe this year has not been an easy win either.

I am a little worried about the Sox facing the Tribe but only a little Also, I'm almost kinda sorta rooting for the Indians to go all the way. I'd like my mom to see that b4 she kicks off. She's been so freakin loyal all these years....

I was pulling for the Red Sox 100% in the 2004 playoffs ... Hoping that they would return the favor the next time a championship-starved city had a good chance of finally winning the big one.
