Ok....not going to argue that too hard...as a SEC fan I do like Georgia. I live 11 miles from the Georgia state line. Hard not to watch their games or talk to their fans.

I did also like Cubb, but when he got hurt, Sony filled in well.

I live in a strange area,,,,tri-state. Both Georgia and Alabama are a few stone throws away...Alabama maybe three.

Obviously there are a lot of Vols fans, but there are a lot of Georgia and Bama fans as well. Hard to not be friends with a fan from one of those teams. I always tell them, Go Gators.

So because you live close to the state of Georgia Sony Michel is as good as Nick Chubb in the NFL?

lol Michel filled in nice for Chubb, before chubb got hurt he was the best back in the nation by a long stretch..Michel isn't anywhere near as good as chubb. Give chubb NE line to run behind.. how many times has chubb been hit in the backfield or hole and still made his yards..

Wow stefanski's offense looked like trash. Also, most of their fans seems to be begging us to take him off their team

Absolutely. Things always get better the closer they are to me.

My comments were more about college experience. As expressed, backs who play for Bill get unpredictable play.

Lol I’ve been reading this too

"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Cooper is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Moore is flanked out wide to the right. Chubb and Ford are split in the backfield as Watson takes the snap ... Here we go."

The Titans have a much better offensive line than the Browns and that factor must be considered when judging RBs.

What Chubb was able to accomplish with this offensive line was remarkable.

I'm not saying Henry is better than Chubb, but there are other factors that have to be considered when judging RBs.

Shurmur has not been a horrible offensive coordinator. I don't know how anyone ever hired him as a head coach after his time with the Browns.

I think we can do better, but we can also do worse for OC. I highly doubt Haslam signs of on that hire. He fired Shurmer once already.

He is going to be their OC.

Great hire by the Panthers. One of the hottest assistant coaches out there.

Of course we didn't get him.

This is a huge deal. I wanted to interview him for our head coach opening. I'll be interested to see what LSU does at the OC spot. One of Joe Brady's mentors, Joe Moorhead, is still unemployed.

He's considered to be a pretty innovative offensive mind.

To be clear, I was talking about LSU's OC opening, not ours. I want to have as many guys from the Shanahan/Kubiak tree as possible.

I understand..I was just commenting from my experience with him when he was in Akron. Living in Canton and being 15 mins away. There are a lot of my friends who kids played for the Zips.

Went to many and still do Zips games..Never was impressed with him there. But that doesn't show his full career.

Pretty sure this is exactly what Jerry was trying to stop from happening, right?

I think he thought Garrett would be their head coach, but yeah. In reality Jerry Jones should have been encouraging his rivals to hire Garrett.

I believe there are certainly variables to that line of thought. I feel if you have a very experienced coaching staff in place with an established way of doing things, integrating college coaching talent into such a system makes perfect sense. The Steelers have such ingredients in place.

As of this time we have no way of knowing the makeup of our coaching staff. Considering at this time we have a rookie HC, I would lean in the direction of having a very experienced staff in place to help him face the hurdles that lie ahead in such a situation.

Intoducing for The Cleveland Browns, Quarterback Deshawn "The Predator" Watson. He will also be the one to choose your next head coach.

Most of the innovation in football, especially on offense, is taking place at the lower levels. Getting someone from that level would bring some knowledge from outside the NFL bubble that would be helpful.

I agree for the most part. That doesn't mean you can't hire an offensive quality control coach or assistant QB coach to the mix from college just to get their perspective.

I think once again there are variables. I think a lot of that depends on your QB. If you have a more prototypical QB, I don't believe it would help as much as if you have a more mobile QB.

Interesting.

I know that is why a lot of NFL coaches spend time in the offseason visiting with some of the more innovative college coaches.

My concern would be that the college coach wouldn't be able to adjust to the pro game and get their position adequately ready.
