There are a handful of ex-Browns here

"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Cooper is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Moore is flanked out wide to the right. Chubb and Ford are split in the backfield as Watson takes the snap ... Here we go."

If the Packers lose bad enough, maybe they will fire Pettine and the Browns could bring him back on board. thumbsup

Green Bay giving the 49ers help they don't need.

How did Green Bay win so many regular season games? Looking like they hired Freddie or something.

They sure do. Can't stop the run, turnovers, and what we do best; give up a TD right before the half. Browns all the way thumbsup

He basically had 0 yards and 1 fumble in 2015 when Farmer was GM.

I would rather see Kyle Shanahan's 30 point Power Point presentation even more than knowing the "Kokinis story."

The 3rd quarter is over and Jimmy Garoppolo has only thrown 6 passes and SF is winning 34-7 in the year 2020. saywhat

Amazing job by Kyle Shanahan and John Lynch on coaching and building this team.

General observation: how wide and open the field looks for good offenses compared to ours; receivers running free with no DB within 5 yards. I remember many instances when we had multiple receivers and even more multiple defenders in the same spot on the field that our QB ended up having to throw.

Four years ago Kyle Shanahan presented Mike Pettine (then Browns HC) with 32 reasons (via Powerpoint) to release him from his OC contact w/ Browns. Today, he took a dump on Pettine in the NFC title game.

32! Even better.

Ray Farmer texting to the sidelines telling Shanahan how to run an offense. Lol.

Not surprisingly, Farmer doesn't have a job in the NFL.

Raheem Mostert is the only player in NFL history with 200+ rush yards and 4+ rush TD in a playoff game.

It's unfortunate that Hue was a fan of big backs and power running, and our front office listened to him.

Good to see Mostert have success, though. Looks like he's got a better grip on ball security after some hard work.

Did you know that Raheem Mostert was on the Eagles, Dolphins, Ravens, Browns, Jets and Bears and never got a single carry until he went to his seventh team, the 49ers?

Truthfully, I thought Mostert had some zip and ran hard when he was with us (maybe it was just preseason)

Farmer had this unjustified arrogance about him.
It's no surprise his prized 1st RD pick Manziel
Is out of the NFL too.

Perfect storm. Farmer wasn't Lombardi. Marla Ridenour wrote an article about how Miami was about to hire him away from the Browns and he was the next "hot, up and coming GM." Jimmy chased the shiny object. We were duped (myself included on the initial excitement).

Farmer was not only atrocious, but was weak.

Watching the games yesterday, it really became clear how far we need to go to be considered in the same class as the teams, (even the losing teams) from yesterday..

One thing I love about the way the 49ers do business:

If you can not stop their run game. Shanahan will pound you into submission.

Garoppolo threw eight passed for 69 yards.

Incredible. As I watched the first half I was thinking the Packers can not stop them. Can't do it.

49ers totally controlled the LOS.
When you can do that you demoralize a team.

It was beautiful.

Agreed. Running game is working great, up multiple scores, just keep pounding them into submission. No reason to get cute or fancy there, as many coaches no doubt would have.

I loved watching the 49'ers using an "old school" game plan to pummel their opponents into submission.

Seattle plays that game as well.

It is tempting to mix in the pass.

But Shanahan to his credit basically said; "prove you can stop the run." "Prove it".

Packers could not.

Great teams can enforce their will. Be that in balance. Run game. Or, the pass game.

Kind of like the old Lombardi power sweep.

They know it's coming. They know he knows it's coming. And here it is.

Execute. Be great at something.

The frustration this year with the Browns was there was no rhyme or reason to their offense. They were all over the place. The execution was horrible.

From what I have seen of KS with the Vikings there will be an identity.

He has learned since then.

I have watched the 49ers this year a decent amount.

Really impressive on both sides of the ball.

Very disciplined team. I read where his father watches everything and consults with his son. Very cool to be able to do that.

The team really executes well.
