Flipping through watching college football. I started elsewhere, but I keep coming back to Purdue/Notre Dame. Its like watching a wreck. You want to look away but you just can't just yet. 23-0 Purdue with under 50 seconds left in the first half. I knew Notre Dame wouldn't be great this year, but wow! Didn't see that one coming, at least not to this degree.
Other interesting games:
LSU 7 Tulane 2 Illinois 21 Penn State 17

How about Northwestern up 13-7 on Michigan and driving with under 2 minutes to go in the first half. Go Cats!
Joe Thomas made Justin Timberlake change his name. He didn't want wusses to have the same initials...

Log we had the same idea - I made a very similar thread that I have sense deleted Tulane is playing out of their minds right now... LSU just got a huge return. I can't see Tulane holding the Tigers off... but so far this is a GREAT game.

I went through a few times, shocked nobody had created any CFB threads for today's games. Especially with some of these early games being, shall we say, interesting.

When I turned the game on Mallett was already in, so I'm not sure. NW is up 16-7 at the half so maybe they'll say why Henne came out at halftime...

On ESPN they said that it wasn't an injury issue for Henne.
10-9 LSU at half.

i love reading the comments from the LSU game on ESPN... funny as hell!
This is why you can never take an opponent lightly... we learned that in UF... SCUM learned that with App State... LSU is learning that today. Even if they win this is a shot in the mouth.

we had the game on as we went to breakfast, they said the plan the was to get henne in there for the first series in both halves...
i didn't think they'd expect a fight out of northwestern, especially how the wildcats have looked the past 2 weeks, losing to duke at home, and getting embarassed in columbus

They didn't really say much about Henne on BTN. They just said he didn't play much in the first half. He was 4 for 6 with a TD...

"Turn out the lights,...the Sooner party is OVER,..."
With Texas having trouble, 'Neers and OU gone, Buckeyes should move up at least 3 spots tomorrow.

Gotta say Oklahoma on this board. OU's got a different meaning around here.
Either way, I'm glad they lost...
The Michigan State/Wisconsin game has been pretty good so far. 24-21 Badgers just before the half...

Even LSU looked iffy for a half of football...
lot of time in the Texas game... KSU needs another score or two.

i guess separation saturday came earlier than expected...
i knew osu was better then texas and oklahoma...
west virginia i thought could lose, i didn't think they'd get dominated like that...
cal is another one of those teams that may not be top-5 worthy... on the other hand, oregon very well could be.
i don't know what happened with lsu, but i still consider them a top-tier team...
florida SHOULD win tonight, but who knows, that game may be closer then people think
