Hundreds brave the snow to lay a veteran to rest in Colorado Springs

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) - Despite treacherous driving conditions across Colorado on Friday due to snow, hundreds of people turned out to honor a veteran being laid to rest.

No family members were able to attend Staff Sgt. Clyde Baldwin's service and a number of veteran groups were hoping members of the public would show up to give the man who served our country for 20 years a proper burial. People from all over Colorado made the trip to Pikes Peak National Cemetery.

The people who attended may not have known Staff Sgt. Clyde Baldwin personally, but they wanted to honor the man who served in the United States Air Force from 1950 to 1970.

It's supposed to be hard! If it wasn't hard, everyone would do it. The hard... is what makes it great!

Nice story ... RIP

"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Jeudy is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Tillman is flanked out wide to the right. Judkins and Ford are split in the backfield as Flacco takes the snap ... Here we go."

As much as people can annoy me, sometimes they amaze.
Nice.
