haha it's pretty good. it dosent seem like they are putting lebron into characters. it just seems like they are making him play himself in every skit.

The best sketch was def. the one where he played the Solid Gold dancer. I'm dying to find a YouTube clip of it. HA HA HA HA.

They didn't let him act much. Most he played a basketball player.

and man, that show is just not funny anymore, what has it been, 10 years since the show was relevant?

they should fire that entire cast and get talented people on there

The show should have ended after most of that cast left.

SNL is cyclical, it'll get better, perhaps yet this year. There is some talent there, namely Andy Samberg, IMO. His Ahmadinejad music video had me laughing last night. The rest of the cast is a little nondescript, but passable, they just need that one person to step up and carry the show a little.

Honestly, I sorta liked the late 90s/early 2000s cast. Tina Fey, Jimmy Fallon, Horatio Sanz, Chris Parnell, Rachel Dratch, etc. They weren't the best ever, but they seemed to consistently have a sketch or two each week that was pretty funny.

The show should have ended after most of that cast left.

That's what most of us old farts said after Bill Murray, Chevy Chase, Dan Akroyd, Gilda Radner et al left... that not only would the show never be the same, it would never even be funny again....

The show goes in cycles... about every 2nd or 3rd cast is pretty funny... I haven't watched it in years but this cast might just be a tweener....

It's a generational thing ... sort of like music. Whichever cast you grew up with in your high-school college years, is usually the one you find the funniest. Sort of how rock-and-roll works too. The old stuff isn't as good as your "elders" think it is, and the new stuff afterwards never matches up either.

I still remember the 3 Mile Island sketch back in the 70's. It was one of my favorites.

IMHO, the show has been pretty unwatchable since Chris Farley.

"SNL" is like nothing you've ever seen or experienced, and no matter how hard you try to prepare yourself, working there is going to turn you and burn you...just about everyone on the sixth floor SUCKS when they first get there - writers and ESPECIALLY the talent...I remember many people (including myself) thinking that Will Ferrell was absolutely awful at first. ANd he was, because he needed the time to grow, and because his material was awful)...but his writers matured, he matured, and the rest is history...I wouldn't say every 2nd or 3rd cast...it's rare that a core cast doesn't hit some stride of creativity (although there have been a few).
