It could very well be her doing her thing.
His biggest concern to me is availability. And based on his injury history these past 3 years, I wouldn't be surprised the team doesn't want to pay him $15M. His total of 15 games missed has increased with each year. Steadily missing games in the past three seasons and that's not even including gamed he played and wasn't 100% and was limited. That should be a legitimate concern for any team.
OBJ falls into this category of being injured a ton too, unfortunately.
Tackles are tackles.

Ogletree wasn’t bad a few years ago, though I don’t recall anything about him recently
"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Cooper is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Moore is flanked out wide to the right. Chubb and Ford are split in the backfield as Watson takes the snap ... Here we go."

I know some guys who love the Giants. I feel sorry for them. Gettleman has very few supporters among that fan base. I don't know if releasing those guys were a bad move or a good move. But Gettleman is a terrible GM and the Giants are a rudderless ship.

The Giants are considering trading out of he 4th overall spot. Let's take a look at Gettleman's comments: From NJ.com:
“We’re open for business,” Gettleman said at the NFL Combine at the Indiana Convention Center on Tuesday. “Whatever we do is gonna be in our best interest.”
“Trading back has its danger,” Gettleman said. "What happens if you trade back eight spots? We’re at 4, let’s say we trade back to 8. There’s only four players we like. What if they’re all gone? Now what are you gonna do? Are you gonna trade back again?” He's smart.

j/c: This could be a very good move. Browns reportedly interested in Case Keenum Darin GanttProFootball Talk on NBC SportsFebruary 26, 2020, 3:58 PM EST The Browns will be looking for a new backup quarterback, with Drew Stanton headed to free agency. And one of their options is a guy new coach Kevin Stefanski knows well. According to Mary Kay Cabot of the Cleveland Plain Dealer, free agent Case Keenum is on the team’s radar. A report from Jason La Canfora of CBSSports.com also put Chase Daniel into the mix. While there’s no indication that the Browns are anything but interested in building around Baker Mayfield, those two have fairly different profiles. The 33-year-old Daniel is the classic veteran mentor (which is what they call people they hope never have to play), with five starts and 218 pass attempts in 10 NFL seasons. Keenum has had a high degree of success, particularly with Stefanski. In 2017 with the Vikings, Keenum went 11-3 as starter and took them to the NFC Championship Game, before they went all-in with Kirk Cousins the following year. But with Stefanski as his quarterbacks coach, he posted a career-best 98.3 passer rating, with 22 touchdowns and seven interceptions. https://www.yahoo.com/sports/browns-reportedly-interested-case-keenum-205836264.html

Stefanski obviously knows Keenum well, so either he or Chase would be good backups

Keenum is enough of a quality QB, that if Baker continues to slump, there is a viable option. The only question is, does Keenum want to go somewhere just to continue to be the backup. Keenum also knows Stefanski's offense and can be helpful in teaching it to Baker.

J/c:
I think Keenum in New England, if they let Brady go, makes more sense than him here. After going 1-7 in Washington with all the drama there, I doubt he finds the thought of Cleveland enticing.

Nice. Thanks. I'm ok with original tender on Hunt. Let someone sign him, see if we like the deal.

I'd agree.
I think Keenum would be ideal for Baker. I think VR training would also be beneficial for Baker.
Im also ok with Daniel.

I still think Brady remains a Patriot.
With the teams presented, the Titans would give him the easier path to the playoffs.
No chance he signs with the Raiders where he'd have to go through Mahomes twice a year and have little chance at a division title.
The NFL would like the Raiders to give the Las Vegas team even more buzz.

Brady to Tennessee would make sense too. Though, I think this is all posturing on his part
"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Cooper is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Moore is flanked out wide to the right. Chubb and Ford are split in the backfield as Watson takes the snap ... Here we go."

The transition tag, if it wasn't so expensive, would be the way to go with Schobert. $14,080,000 is a lot for a player of his caliber. The only players that make that more than that, on a per yer basis, at his position are Bobby Wagner and C.J. Mosley (Myles Jack and Deion Jones make about $14M). Those players are much better than Schobert.

https://nesn.com/2020/02/patriots-nfl-scouting-combine-notebook-updates-on-upcoming-free-agents/We’ve been hearing since last year’s combine that it’s unlikely left guard Joe Thuney will be back in 2020. He’s expected to be the highest-paid guard on the open market, and the Patriots just re-signed right guard Shaq Mason two years ago.
It would be shocking if the Patriots poured that many resources into the guard position. Both tackle spots seem like more of a pressing need but right guard is a glaring need also (although there may be a guy or two on the roster who can fill in). Last time a front office with Paul DePodesta and Andrew involved with it was in charge we handed out the richest guard contract ever.

I think getting a solid/stud RT will go a long way to stabilizing the RG position. Whoever is in there will have quality linemen on either side. As long as the tackle positions are addressed, I think the RG will sort itself out via our current roster.

I don’t think a tag is an option for keeping Joe. We’d have to come to terms on a contract extension.

I don't think Jack and Jones are "much better players" than Schobert.
Neither has a many tackles. Also, according to PFF, Joe had the best yards after catch average in the league for off-the-ball linebackers.
Jones is very good, but I don't think he is "much better" than Joe.

My belief about this, and this is just a thought, so I'm not making factual claim. But, IMO, I think Joe's agent is telling him to shop around to see your worth. It would be a smart move on his part. Then the ball will be on the Browns to either pony up, or he walks.
I don't think anything bad is being done on either side, there's a new CBA in the wings, that could change things.

Agree, the Browns are not only weak at both tackle spots, but RG is not good as well. I believe Thuney played exclusively (or nearly exclusively) at LG for NE. Maybe played some RG in college? PFF recently had an article predicting contract amount and landing spot for their top 50 free agents. Here's where they had Thuney going and here are the players they had the Browns signing...

I wonder what the FO thinks of Drew Forbes? He was injured all of last year but apparently was viewed as a possible starting guard by some.

Since we have the same scouts as last year, as long as he fits what the new coaches will be doing, we're probably still pretty high on him.
