seems like maybe DA is gettting lucky compared to the rest of the NFL afterall ...

Do you understand why I find this really hard to believe? I'm not a big believer in "luck" when it comes to stuff like that.. I believe in hard work and the law of averages...

Derrick Anderson is what we have right now. I can name at least 5 starters on this team that are worse than him. He's not the weak link although we do have a rookie on the bench that I believe will out perform him almost immediately. Once BQ is ready, BQ is playing.

He is not the weak link on this team. You're right about many other positions being worse. He is however the weak link on the offense. Being a QB that's a pretty big deal.

He is also the only one, that I'm aware of, that has a highly touted, good looking rookie, waiting to take his place. If we had a 1st round NT waiting to take Big Teds place, everybody would be wondering why the change had not been made yet... nobody would be wondering if he was "ready" or not... put him in the game.

NT and QB are two totally different positions..U can get by putting in a rookie NT quicker than a rookie QB..

Vikes/Pack ....

Favre threw into double coverage once ... about a 30 yard pass with a man in front of the reciever and a man in back of him on an out type pass ... they had him blanketed .. Favre is one of the very few QB's int he game ever that is either dumb enough or smart enough to make that pass .. it was smart (not really) of him this time as he threaded the needle ..

he had no dropped picks and had 2 passes that were not catchable ..

Smelly on the other hand missed a Wide Open WR running a streak for a TD ... he also had 1 pick dropped ... didn't throw into double coverage at all ...

Lions/Bears next .. this one could tilt the scale your way ... *L* ...

but they forget that we have 7 sacks this year, and 5 of them where in the 1st quarter when Fry was back there. So you want to tell me that mid way through the 2nd quarter the OL suddenly gelled, and none of that is DA's getting rid of the ball quicker???

You've got to remember, by the time DA came into the squealer game they were WAY ahead. To quote Diam on this 'they had already called off the dogs'. And DA wasn't exactly stellar either, 13 of 28...'course he came in facing a team that was expecting the pass so it wasn't easy for him.
