Where in the Constitution is your right to buy a house?
Again, I don’t think you know what a right is. I don't think you know what a clue is. Lose the argument. Name call. Fun stuff. Where was the name calling? OH, I haven't lost an argument here.

You could, but you'd be wrong. That is, if you're talking about buying a gun legally. Imagine that. To legally buy a gun, you need an i.d., an address, an fbi background check. To buy a gun. According to some, to vote you need only show up.

Wow Bernie just made Biden lie on national TV and gave him several times in a row. He ask him if he was ever on the floor of the senate and talking about the need to cut social security, medicare, and VA programs. Joe said never.

Then I realized it was the Dem Debate!

No crowd for Bernie to feed off of.
Biden is killing this dude in a one on one debate. Bernie keeps repeating problems, but Biden is the only one offering solutions.
Regardless if the solutions are good enough, again, Biden is offering up realistic policies, and Bernie is offering up FB memes.

I'll admit Joe has only had slight moments of senility. bar is low for moderates. Bernie on the other hand is steady in his commitment to bring real meaningful change. Sad that you can't see that.

Obviously you didn't read Clems post above. That or you don't care because most of them wouldn't vote for your party. So, they can't vote by mail? This post represents the epitome of tone deafness. To answer you question: yes... they can vote by mail. But they can't vote as easily and seamlessly as other American citizens on election day... ..which is the point of all of this. If Voter S has 3 times the ability/opportunity to cast his/her vote(s) as Voter I, the systemic inequity is baked into the results of every election. Guys like arch who can flash their ID's, cast a vote in 15 minutes or less, and return to the next rug/carpet cleaning job have a baked-in advantage over guys like clem who must stand in line for 2 hours to cast the same "one person/one vote." Voter suppression extends far beyond the scope of what you allow yourself to see. It's not just possessing an ID. and walking up to the next voting machine. It also shows up in a system that allows someone like archbolddawg to cast his vote in less than 5 minutes, while a voter like Clemdawg is forced to dedicate at least 2 hours of his life to exercise that same "right." Did you read the article I referenced? Do you know anything about the efforts Alabama put forth to strategically limit the power of the Black Belt vote? Do you even know what Alabama's 'Black Belt' is? Do you realize how many states leaped at the chance to make voting harder for select, targeted voting blocs? Of course you don't/didn't. Because Your American Experience doesn't require you to know/understand/care about such things. My American Experience requires knowing such things as these as a basic survival skill. I'm 15 years older than you, live in a city, and am a person of color. My American Experience is starkly different than yours. Which is exactly why we see politics through such totally different lenses. ______________ 1. Were you ever required to find day care for Sooga so you could vote? Because casting your vote required an expenditure of 3+ hours of your life? People who live near me have to take such things into consideration on Election Day. 2. Did 'Martha' ever have to lose pay/work hours to stop by the local Fulton County poling address? Toledo Moms did. Voting actually cost them hourly income. 3. Has it ever been a chore/planned activity for you to cast a vote? Or has it always been this thing you could take for granted because it was this easy, 10-minute detour in your November day? If your answer to these 3 questions is "no," then you aren't qualified to even participate in this conversation. Because you've never been a victim of voter suppression. Like your pal Clemdawg has. Clemdawg has stood in a poling line for 2.5 hours. How long have you ever waited to cast your vote? Yeah... that's what I thought. The difference between your voting experience and mine is the very definition of voter suppression. The stories of our own families' voting experiences are an even more stark example of how Two Different Americas exist. It runs much deeper than simply having an ID card in one's pants pocket. Sometimes, it's as basic as having a place to vote at all.

I've had to wait more than two hours one time I believe, and that was in 2008 in a predominantly white neighborhood in Dublin, ohio. But it was just slightly over 2 hours. It was also the last time I voted on election day instead of voting early.

What part of "making it more difficult" seems to be escaping you? What would you suggest? Having the pollsters go door to door so you, the voter, don't have to inconvenience yourself at all? No, and nobody even suggested what you are saying. And you claim it's other people who start stupid BS? What I suggest is they stop closing polling stations where people are less likely to have transportation to drive. You seem to suggest that making it less convenient for people in such areas is perfectly fine. Never suggested anything of the sort. I see you haven't changed 1 bit. You twist peoples words to fit your argument. Carry on. You used more than one post to suggest that voting wasn't made harder for people. It has been made harder for people in certain places. Now you're back peddling.

Most likely primarily Bernie supporters tuned in tonight. Moderates have drank the kool aid. Bernie actually drove the bus for The Electric Kool-Aid Acid Test. From listening to you, I'm pretty sure you were a passenger.

You obviously don't read the board. No Trumpian is voting Democrat.
But a lot of independent voters who would never vote for Bernie, will vote for Joe.
Here's where you are lost. You lump everyone into categories. Let me give you a clue. Not everybody fits into the neat little boxes you have created in your own mind.
Voters aren't turning out for Bernie. Yet you keep promoting a losing candidate to beat Trump. You seem to have lost sight of the big picture for your own personal agenda. Typical Bernie Bro.

This happened because of centrists having a meltdown that a progressive was winning. And I'm going to complain about it until November, do what I have to do to get rid of Trump, then be done with establishment loving democrats and their party. After that I will only vote for progressive candidates when and where I can, no more status quo.

If Bernie was that strong of a candidate than a consolidation of moderate candidates shouldn’t have mattered.
But he isn’t.

But he isn’t. And that's the point that flies over his head. OCD thinks that if you have four moderates running and one progressive candidate running, that a victory would actually mean something. When it comes to one on one, Bernie falls well short. But that's what those of his ilk are doing. They love an unfair fight. But when the competition comes down to one on one, they call it a conspiracy and their hair is suddenly on fire.

But he isn’t. Consolidation of moderates and MSM's pro biden, Bernie's a socialist commie coverage for two or three weeks. GMAFB. This was all in move by the establishment running Pete and Amy out after Biden gets one win... but whatever, you'll just call it crying. Twice progressives have been denied their voice. And no way Biden wins without them, even if PIT thinks every independent will show and vote for status quo Joe. Bernie has more support with independents.

If he has more supports from independents, it most certainly isn’t being shown in the polls are actual primary voting.
You forgot that in 2016, sanders still lost the primary popular vote against Clinton as well. That’s not being silenced, that’s simply not appealing to a broader base.
And again, none of your excuses explains why bernies own supporters can’t even be bother to stand in line and vote for him in primary elections.
People voting for Biden are standing in the same lines, yet only Bernie bro’s are whining about long voting lines.
It’s almost as if they never voted before and don’t know what to expect. That would actually explain a lot since they couldn’t be bothered to show up in 2016.
Bernie bro’s will stand in line for iPhones and lattes but won’t stand in line to practice their voting rights. Sad.

Well I'll just wrap this up like this; I'll vote for Biden but Bernie Bros in general are done with dems until they start to listen. So when Biden gets his ass whooped in the general, it's not on me, IT'S ON Y'ALL. You didn't learn crap from 2016, so you're going to repeat in 2020.

This from the guy who was crying and saying he wouldn't vote for Bernie Now you're lying like trump. You sound a lot like trump lately. I said I would vote for the nominee no matter who it was. Several times. But since you hate a fair fight I'm not surprised by this new low. Sure when you were cornered you said you'd vote for him, but when others said they wouldn't you'd agree. I said that I understood it. A self described democratic socialist is something a lot of people won't vote for and he is far too liberal to ever attract the masses. Hey. at least you admitted you lied in your original statement. You do a lot of double talk thinking that your way is the right and only way... You drop names like extremist, radical, and crap like that then bemoan me lumping moderate centrist into one group. Read you own posts. I use your own tactics back against you. You don't like the dinner? Quit serving slop.

You mean like how Bernie won Michigan in 2016 by 2% but lost it in 2020 by 10%? That kind of not learning anything? People like Joe and turn out for Joe. Why do you ignore math when it suits you? Bernie has lost ground since 2016, not gained it. The numbers are clear. According to your standards, Obama was a moderate too and he won twice. When are you going to get it through your head people just didn't like Hillary?

So you would then want me to admit that Bernie would have beaten Trump? Seriously? If you can't even win the nomination of your own party. And I'm guessing it will end up pretty lop sided. I don't see how you would expect someone to claim that same person would win the presidency.
