Bernie has been well represented in the media. He's just not electable. Look man, when he's getting in the 30's in percentages from voters in the Democratic party, (who according to you aren't democrats). maybe it's time you admit it wasn't Bernie so many people liked, it was Hillary so many people didn't like.

The problem with Bernie is his logic only appeals to a minority of people. Generally anti-corporate and those who are outside the system. If you have something to your name, Bernie wants it.

That's ridiculous. He wants a system that works for everybody bro, not just the rich. He's not out to 'get' anyone, but he wants corps and rich to pay a bigger share to cover a social safety and economic structure that allows everyone to prosper. We would all be better off for it in the long run. Safer, richer, happier... rebuilding the middle class to be economically strong is GOOD FOR BUSINESS AND RICH PEOPLE TOO.

I think there are a lot of people who fully understand that the power and structure of not only our government, but also our tax system is slanted in favor of the corporations.

Yet at the same time they also understand that there are many billionaires and millionaires that not only agree that they should pay more in taxes but that the system needs to change.

I believe any time you try and label and alienate a group by lumping them as all the same, you also alienate people who comprehend that isn't true.

That's why I've often times differentiated a Trumpian from a Republican. Here in Tennessee we had Haslam as a governor. In Ohio you have DeWine. While I may disagree with some of their political stands, you can see that they have the people at heart. Even if we believe they don't always go about things the right way.

Haslam passed two years of free college here in Tennessee. Not as a giveaway program as many describe it, but as an investment of having an educated population with which to attract the jobs of the future.

On this very board we have seen people call all Democrats socialists and wanting everything for free. But as we've seen thus far during the Democratic nomination process, the progressives who propose these very ideas did not and are not faring well among Democrats.

This is the kind of backlash such tactics will eventually get you.

That is not what I have heard, and I have been listening to him for the past 10 years or so. At one time he was a lunchtime guest on an XM radio show. He is always bashing the corporations and wealthy. That is his approach, and it has limited appeal.

The challenge is to define what is "rich" which he has not done. I can easily see myself as being "rich" simply because I am in California living a modest middle class life as I am not rich. There is a big difference between California rich and Ohio rich.

I view his economic policy in the same light as trickle down economics, or anything from Ayn Rand. Total nonsense.

Really? Anybody having a income of over $500,000 annually is rich. No matter where they live. They should have no problem paying their fair share of taxes like every other middle class family does and is expected to.

That is your definition of rich. I want Bernies.

That would not surprise me at all. Those with influence over him need to realize that there has to be a country on a planet left to rule if they want to stay in power. So I really don't think he would get away with it even if he tries.

Did you hear what she accused him of doing? She claims he pinned her against the wall put his hand in her skirt and put his finger in her. Then when she didn't respond like she liked it, he backed away and said "I thought you liked me". Men have gone down for way less during the #MeToo moments in recent politics.

Not trump. And there is plenty of evidence and multiple victims to bring charges against trump.

So yeah I expect Biden to roast even without any proof or evidence to support her claims.

There is almost zero reporting on this in MSM so it's unlikely to go anywhere. Proving that Biden is the establishment candidate, the lack of even so much as a mention is very telling. Obviously Biden should not be railroaded without further investigation but the lack of anything sure reinforces the republican outcry over the Kavanaugh situation. I'm disappointed in the damage this does to the MeToo movement, making the whole thing look like nothing more than a political farce.

IMO, The Hill ain't no Breitbart. I'll at least read or hear what they have to say, if suspiciously. I do think, however, it's very curious how little attention this is getting. After the Kavanaugh episode, you would think MSM would at least take a look. I mean, there isn't much of a difference, right? Hell, Biden was in office when this allegedy took place.

After the Kavanaugh episode Biden should feel totally exonerated right now. But he knows the GOP will be asking for more than just the victim to testify in any case against him.

And if you had listened to the videos you would know that she was turned down by the same outfit that has helped countless others because her accusation was against Biden and they feared losing their non-profit status. She has tried multiple times to get her story out and not been helped, not due to lack of credibility but due to politics.

It's not about that. It's about the fact that when looking at the primaries left, they are moderate states that will never vote for Bernie. Common sense says that Biden has a lock on the nomination.

Now if you wish to continue to support Bernie even though common sense dictates he can't win, that's fine. But you're constant attacks on Biden by unfounded claims only undermines the eventual candidate of the Democratic party. It helps Trump.

Talking up your own candidate is fine. But you're using Trump tactics. Rather than say why you're candidate is good and pointing out that good, you're trying to point out why the other guy is bad.

On a side note, I see Biden is getting frequent airtime on MSM after being absent for a week or two. He's back on the campaign trail while Bernie has been very active in fighting for people during this crisis morning, noon, and night; yet Bernie gets very little coverage other than his own live streams and progressive internet outlets. It's almost like somebody declared the primaries over while half the country has yet to vote.

I see people who know the upcoming states are mostly all moderate states know who will be their nominee and are actually trying to unite to beat Trump. Then there's the Bernie Bros.
