I went to see my surgeon today for my shoulder. They had a station set up inside, with a girl (I think) covered in something looking like a Hasmat suit. She took my temperature with a contactless thermometer before I could be allowed in.
I was at 97 flat, by the way.

School year or rest of the year?
LOL - The Rish will be upset with this news as well. KS just doesn't prioritize winning...

So tired of all of these newspapers thinking I'm going to subscribe or pay to read their stupid stories. Every time I run across one, I just block them from my browser.
If you use chrome, install an extension called "Cookie Remover", it will remove the cookies they count your fre articles with. then refresh. For others just use incognito mode. I haven't run across many that this won't stop from trying to make you pay to read.

The Johns Hopkins board has been my go-to since the beginning; I don't recall whom it was that shared it on here back in January, but I've watched it daily since. Here is a site I just became aware of yesterday via a friend on Facespace: https://www.covidactnow.org/It gives you the "Point of no Return" on a state-by-state basis, broken out by type of restrictions put into place. Of note: "Wuhan-style lockdown" is its own level of restriction. What we are starting to see here in Ohio, and San Fran, and other states is NOT as stringent as what they went to... and even with as stringent as they got, it still took them 6+ weeks to get things under control to the degree they have. That should set expectations of what sorts of improvements we will not see here. I ran to the store earlier and from the traffic in town I wouldn't think anybody was staying home.

Yeah, that site is one of the sources used by the Johns Hopkins site. This youtube channel has been streaming this live since January. It compiles cases, deaths, and recoveries from all over the world. https://youtu.be/qgylp3Td1Bw

The ones on here who had friends that got tested. What symptoms did they have ? Seems most of you said the tests came back negative. I just wonder if the tests are accurate. I have developed a cough and some soreness in my respiratory area. I have had upper respiratory infections before. Kind of feels like one. some pain in the back between the shoulders. I don't have a fever but the 2 symptoms I have seem to be 2 of the 3 common ones. I work for a company that makes the cans for lysol and other aerosol cans and food cans so we are considered an Essential company.
The cough is mild and not many coughs. I also have a little soreness in my throat. I take my temperature before work and after. It averages about 97.1. I have Sinuses so I'm not sure what I might have.
I will call the HR manager and let her know my symptoms and see what they want me to do. I have also been staying home and being very distant from people and practicing social distancing.
I had to pick up some groceries on Thursday. I was well back from the lady in front of me. I heard the guy behind me saying he freaked out when he saw 9 cars in the lot and was worried to come into the store. He sounded close. I turned around and he was literally 2 inches away from me. I totally freaked on him. I can't repeat what I said in a nasty way..But I'm pretty sure he will be practicing social distancing if he even ever leaves his house again.
My friend called today and told me he was in Vegas in early February. He sat with another person he knew on the plane for some 4 hours. That person got the virus but he hasn't shown any symptoms.
I told my kids if you go shopping. Put the perishables away and leave the canned foods in the garage for 3-4 days. If possible wipe down the perishables first.
I hope you all stay healthy and pray the trial for the cure goes well tomorrow.

Let me know what they say. I've had something similar but I'm 99% sure mine is related to other things. My sinuses drain all the damn time and with COPD it's a huge irritant. So I get the occasional itchy throat with a little soreness. But I haven't had anything else and wouldn't even be able to tell you if there were additional body pains because that's the state of my life. I hurt morning, noon, and night. You just get so used to it you don't notice little things.
