Tomorrow, I will be wearing my Marquez Pope game worn jersey to work. I will sweat my behind off. My other option was my store bought Braylon jersey. Alot thinner and cooler.
But they seem to lose when I wear that. I wore my Pope jersey to the bengals game and ravens game. So tomorrow at work I will wear my Pope jersey and sweat it out for the Brownies.
Now my pants are a whole 'nother subject. I bought them with pre-made holes in them but time has gone by and the holes have become pretty big but I wear these jeans with my Pope jersey. And since they haven't lost with this combo, I will not change.
So I will sweat my a** off tomorrow with our unseasonal weather and wear my hobo jeans all in the name of a Browns victory!

Usually I wear my Braylon jersey on Fridays, but Hafner gets the nod tomorrow...
My superstition is that I always wear the same hat and Winslow jersey for the past few years on Sunday (even preseason and bye week.)

I don't have any. Usually I don't have the time to get wrapped up into such things, my weekly schedule is hectic, and my weekends I spend most of the time taking care of chores, but make sure I am available by 11am on Sundays, or later depending on gametime.

Well, I don't condone wearing a bucs jersey unless your baseball team is the bucs, ( I don't know you very well) they may be called the bucs for all I know, but since you're in Florida I am ASSuming it's a tampa bay jersey. WHY??? But if it works, keeps wearing it I guess?

I always wear something of the Browns. Preferably a jersey, but I'm down to only Winslow's that I wear because my other 2 are Green and Couch. I have a thing about wearing old jerseys, not sure if it's a superstition or not.......sort of. Anyways, I always wear some kind of Browns shirt or jersey, and have to wear my pair of Browns boxers underneath for good luck. I also have this Browns stone in my front yard that I like to rub for good luch prior to leaving for the games or watching them. I forgot to do it before we left for the Steelers game, and we know how that ended up. I went out just before the Cincy game and rubbed it, and we won. I forgot to go out before the Raiders game, and we lost. I rubbed it the night before the Ravens game so I wouldn't forget to do it when we left, and they won. So I'm thinking the outcome of the game depends on me. Please guys, make sure I don't forget this week, we need a lil' luck! My other superstition is that I can't miss any part of any play. Back before I remodeled my basement, I watched the games in my living room. If I had to go to the bathroom, my den is directly across from it, and the TV is lined up directly at the door, so as I'm taking a leak, and can watch all the action. So I'd have to wait until after the play and run down the hall to the bathroom so I can get there and see the next snap. I leave that TV on the whole game. But now that I watch all the games in my basement, I try to hold it until commercial breaks. If I have to go bad enough, I have a toilet in the laundry room, so I have to leave the door open, and if I carefully lean backwards as I'm peeing, I can see about half of the screen through the door. So this way I don't miss a snap. If I go up to get a drink or a snack, I always leave the TV in the living room on with the game so in case I don't make it back for a snap, I can see it up there. Is that superstitous enough for ya?

If we win, I wear the same exact thing the next game unwashed. Well socks and boxers obviously not included. Sometimes if we are losing or did something bad I will take off my jersey and throw it Most times we start to do good for some reason. Another thing I have done is the past 2 home games when I am coming up to Browns Stadium I pop on "Cherub Rock" by The Smashing Pumpkins to get pumped for the game and we have won both. The steeler game I didn't listen to anything and we got destroyed so from now on the Pumpkins will be blaring
Our honor defend, we will fight to the end, for OHIO! GO BUCKS!

Every Monday I wear Browns gear. even just a T-shirt
I'd feel weird if i didnt. I usually do it even when the season isnt in the midst. Just out of Habit.
But Monday = Browns something.
ALSO...I have a guitar with a browns sticker on it. Its not really a superstition, i just love it there. Its shiny

This is of course a desperate measure and I hate shedding my Browns jersey but it has been known to work for some reason. I remember the obvious example was 02' for me. It is still clear as day in my mind. We're down 14 very late against the titans. I've become frustrated with the way things have gone and hurl my Couch jersey and hat across the room. Then I watch in awe as we drive down the field and score as Andre Davis catches a TD pass. Then dawson kicks a beauty of an onside to the opposite side of the field that the power is on. Northcutt is there and barely gets both feet in (got reviewed). We drive down and Couch hits Cutt who jukes some defenders and sneaks into the endzone with hardly anytime left. At this point I'm going nuts I've absolutely lost it. But of course I have to keep the jersey off now sure enough we win in OT. I throw the jersey and hat back on and head out into civilization to bark at anyone in sight. A great day!
But here's a question that's not a superstition. Does anyone on here that has the good fortune of being able to attend games sport the dawg masks. I only get to go to about a game a year and when I get tickets in the pound I do. But they seriously cut down on your side vision and I end up accidently bumping people at time. Just wanted to know if anyone else sported them or if you guys think the days of dawg masks are gone.

well when I was younger, anything that had the Browns on it couldnt be thrown away if it was old or broken it had to be proberly taken care of at a summer end season beginning bomb fire, cloths books, hats, gloves PJ's were burned in respect, glass items were broken up to millions of little pieces, other strange items we winged at the time I had these PJ's and if the browns won they didnt get washed, so a two or the game winning streak around my house got a little stinky, This would also go for any jersey being won during the game, socks pants, ect. My uncle would eat the same meal every sunday if the Browns won, He lived in Ashtabula and we'd go over to his house alot during the season, One sunday the Browns won and we had spagetti, the Browns won like 6 in a row and every Sunday we had Spagetti, we were so sick of it, but we'd suck it down so the Borwns would win, He's do the opposite if the Browns lost, we could eat that meal again that season on a Sunday. There were other little strange things my family would do during the season, but we always had fun I remember one year my cousin & I told our mom's if the Browns lose today were not gonna bath well the they win again well they lost and they lost again the next sunday and I remember calling my cousin talking about school and if he broke down and bathed, how stinky was he...LOL ya know 11 year old boy smells...after one week and two Sundays that Tued my mom hosed us downa dn made us take a bath

I've tried everything. Nothin' seems to work. Although this season, we are 2-0 on game days when I haven't had anything to drink, and 0-2 in games when I've imbibed.

Well every time I've been at home to watch a game we've lost. Though the Raiders game wasn't played so I wanted play by play and listened to the radio. But was out of town at a sports bar when we played Cincy and stuck working at my dads house when we played Baltimore...he needs more help on Sunday this week...hope that works out for us <G> Now if I just remember to DVR the game this time.

LOL. Had to work after the Bungles' game, and last Sunday was first anniversary with the wife (although she "let" me watch the Rats' game without complaining).

Coincidentally, the Steelers and Raiders games I wore by Winslow jersey, and the bengals and Ravens games I wore my Edwards jersey.
But it only worked that way because I alternate games with them, and just happened to start with Winslow.

Oh clay, that's worse than LeBron wearing Yankee gear. A friend of mine gave me a Chicago Blackhawks t-shirt years ago. I couldn't wear it... and I don't even hate the Blackhawks.

that was fun....Too me it's just a jersey....People know where my alligence lays.....Kinda like wearing pink....Real men dont have a problem wearing pink

Alrighty then. I'm not here to judge you.
If you feel comfortable in pink and comfortable with your other... "issues" shall we say... as long as you're happy, that's the main thing.

LOL....Never said I was comfortable, but when I've been asked to wear a pink shirt for Breast Cancer or when I use to attend meetings with my Ex-Wife for Breast Canser awareness, I never had a problem wearing a pink button up shirt...but it also helps when the other 500 men & women are also wearing it....

I have a couple. one is like DP017. I have to watch from the kickoff to the end. Also I don't want the channel changed. Ever. I don't watch the commercials but I don't like the TV messed with. I wear some kind of Browns gear. I also cross my fingers (just one hand and has to be the right one) all game. (not during commercials though lol) I know pretty stupid superstitions, but hey I like em. Can't say I take them very seriously but at the same time I do do that stuff.

There's an OJ Simpson, Bills jersey in the Goodwill here in Alliance, O. for only $35. (It started out at $75) You might enjoy that.
For some odd reason I wanted to buy it but couldn't bring myself to do it. I did ponder the possibility of OJ himself beating down my door to get it back.
I'm one who can't miss one second of one play or we're doomed. Back int the day if the game wasn't televised I listened on the radio. I would always drive out by the lake and park alone so as not to be disturbed. "Seeing" the game on the radio takes a lot of focus.
That started in 1984 and I didn't miss one second of any game from then on. But then in '99 I was coaching a pee wee football team and our games were Sunday at 1pm! I missed a lot that first season. But starting in 2000 I haven't missed any. I did have to work a couple of times during games but have a DVR from Time Warner cable and watch them completely later.
Out of 4 times of doing that, 3 of those times I managed to not hear the score or the outcome and watch it in what seemed like "real time" later at home. I can tell you it takes a lot of focus and discipline to not sneak a listen to the radio in the car on the way home to see how we did. But the payoff is watching it "live" on TV.
I also prefer to watch the games alone at home. My brother is the only one I don't mind, he wouldn't say crap if you were about to step in it. I just can't stand for someone to be bitching or complaining about the players, coaches, play calling, etc. during the game. I don't mind some serious barking or a hell yeah! for the acores and good plays. But I hate a complainer, there's enough of them on here, and besides, I don't wait all week just to have the game interupted by that.
Negative vibes are not good during the game.
If we're not doing well I'll change my seat or get something to eat. You never know what little thing you do at home will have a great impact on the team even if they're playing on the West coast. Just kicking off my shoes, or putting them on, have resulted in the Browns scoring a TD. At other times I just can't seem to hit on anything to help. I consider that my fault.
I live in town, so when we win, I'll go out on my porch and bark loudly. If I wait a minute, I can usually hear another Dawg or two doing the same.
I used to stay up Saturday night until 5 or 6 Sunday morning so I could fall asleep on the couch and get up at 12:45pm for an early game. The wait would nearly kill me if I got up in the morning. These days I can't hang like that so I have a couple of hours to kill before the game. I spend some of that time on here.
Well, I guess I'm an odd sort but then again....you asked.
