This is going to be a doozy of a season ... lets get it started with one of my two favorite dems ... what a great gal and one awesome public servant ... she has such an uncanny ability to connect with the common folk ... I really hope no one takes this out of context ... thumbsup

Saw this ad today thumbsup smile

Best of all, it is entirely factual. Clueless Pelosi doesn't understand the way the lockdown is strangling the livelihood of Americans who don't live in $8-million mansions with $24,000 refrigerators.

The Democrats have been playing class warfare games for a century, even as the plutocracy has become their funders and puppet masters. They think they have immunity. They are very wrong.- Thomas Lifson

Well they just need to pick themselves up by their bootstraps! This sitting around waiting on socialism is getting old. Their jobs are gone and we are in lock down to save lives, so they will need to invent new incomes. Have you seen the ads republicans are running against Trump? I'll see if I can find them for you thumbsup

I won't watch a single one of these things. I don't care who they boost/denigrate.
I have hated them for more than 30 years.

Its the first time I’ll ever watch them ... very curious to see how each side attacks the other ... lots of ammo out there for both sides ....

I won't watch the ads. It's always bothered me that campaigns focus on the negatives of the opponent instead of what they--themselves--have to offer to our country or local government. Dirty.

I wasn't attacking the posters who posted them. I just have never liked the guttural approach most political campaigns resort to.

They're not even funny anymore. There were some good ones back in the day. I remember when Dewine was running against John Glenn and had the Energizer Bunny "keep owing and owing and owing".

One could make a three year movie of the lies that have spewed from trump's mouth.

Not to even mention simple decency and adult behavior.

For someone who does not identify them self along a party line.

I have admired some presidents simply by their conduct in office. Even though I may not have gone along policy wise.

I doubt there is a perfect candidate for any single individual. Myself I am both conservative and liberal. It depends on the policy and what I believe.

trump's personal conduct as a human being is repulsive. His lack of decency deplorable. His manor of dealing with people and his language demonstrates a total lack understanding what the office stands for.

I would rather have an amoeba in office.

Doubled the debt is on there too. LOL
Even prior to COVID trump was bringing us to brink of ruin financially at a rate far faster than President Obama. But suddenly it’s not important.

Did he not double the debt? ... he spent like a drunken sailor ...

I thought facts were what mattered ... oh that’s right your part of the one way street gang ...

While O was doubling the debt i never got a penny but my health insurance quadrupled + .... at least Trump’s drunken sailor spending has put some money in my pocket ...

And maybe if O didn’t let the military go further in the crapper Trump wouldn’t have had to spend a trillion to restore it ...

No Facts definitely do not matter. Not since Trump got elected.

But just for fits and giggles let's pretend like a Trump supporter cared and let's look at the numbers. Perhaps we can even put them into context? Obama inheriting an economy that was in the worst recession since the Great Depression - Trump inheriting a very strong economy. So good that - when you compare Obama's trend's to Trump's trends (before the Coronavirus struck) the trajectory of all the major indices are virtually a straight line (meaning Trump is continuing to do as well as Obama in most cases).

https://www.thebalance.com/us-debt-by-president-by-dollar-and-percent-3306296

Donald Trump: Trump plans to add $4.832 trillion to the debt in his first term.8 That's a 24% increase from the $20.245 trillion debt at the end of Obama's last budget for FY 2017. If he remains in office for a second term, he plans to add $8.3 trillion for both terms. Trump had promised to eliminate the debt during his campaign.

FY 2021 - $1.177 trillion projected
FY 2020 - $1.181 trillion projected
FY 2019 - $1.203 trillion
FY 2018 - $1.271 trillion
Barack Obama: Added $8.588 trillion, a 74% increase from the $11.657 trillion debt at the end of Bush’s last budget, FY 2009.

FY 2017 - $671 billion
FY 2016 - $1.423 trillion
FY 2015 - $327 billion
FY 2014 - $1.086 trillion
FY 2013 - $672 billion
FY 2012 - $1.276 trillion
FY 2011 - $1.229 trillion
FY 2010 - $1.652 trillion
FY 2009 - $253 billion. Congress passed the Economic Stimulus Act, which spent $253 billion in FY 2009.9 This rare occurrence should be added to President Obama's contribution to the debt.

George W. Bush: Added $5.849 trillion, a 101% increase from the $5.8 trillion debt at the end of Clinton's last budget, FY 2001.

FY 2009 - $1.632 trillion. This was Bush's deficit without the impact of the Economic Stimulus Act.
FY 2008 - $1.017 trillion
FY 2007 - $501 billion
FY 2006 - $574 billion
FY 2005 - $554 billion
FY 2004 - $596 billion
FY 2003 - $555 billion
FY 2002 - $421 billion

There is a bit of truth to a few of the things in there.. unfortunately it's lost buried under a whole lot more crap that was investigated and resolved or was just a plain conspiracy theory from the beginning.

And the whole snake image is just asinine.
