Seems like a disruptive guy but gets a bit out of control ... but explosive

Elliot is solid. Better than Weaver.

He won't have to carry the load as a rookie.
This pick is for the future...

An analytical pick. Has great measurables. Not enough production. But, I really haven't watched him enough to know anything other than that.

DI Jordan Elliott was highest player left on PFF's Big Board at 23rd overall. Browns grab him at 88. Highest overall grade of any SEC defender, especially good as a pass rusher

Makes sense. Larry is in a contract year and Sheldon kind of is, too as his contract has an out with almost no dead money after this season.

They originally listed Weaver as the pick.

I think the Browns see him as an inside pass rusher prospect due to his athleticism. Defiantly, a position of need. More depth than starter at this point.

Our top three interior linemen can potentially be gone next year.

Look at the title of this thread, that you replied to.

Whoever started this posted Weaver as our pick.

Not in the third round. Usually not anywhere else in the draft.

Meh, we "need" depth everywhere. We don't have any glaring holes, so I don't see us making many need reaches. Maybe some upside bets.
