A Georgia native, Herrien worked hard late in his high school career to qualify academically so he could play for the Bulldogs. Herrien did not start any of the 40 games in which he played his first three years on campus. He did contribute each season, however:

Brian Herrien is probably only a PS candidate to begin with, but is a pretty versatile and well seasoned RB ... with good short yardage abilities.

Herrien reminds me of a Montario Hardesty.. Not fast, but can shake a defender to get an extra yard or two. Runs hard every snap, and doesn't mind trying to put a shoulder on you despite not being the biggest guy on the field.
I'm normally pretty optimistic with my UGA guys, but I don't see Herrien being anything more than a practice squad guy.
So it Herrion is going to try to beat out Hilliard. One of them will be staying. We know what we get from Hilliard, might as well give the new kid a shot!

I don't see that at all. I think we'll carry, at most, 5 WR .... and one of them will have to handle all KR. We won't have 5 WR active on gamedays, as we will keep additional TE and a FB.
