This is gaining tons of steam that its a hoax. If true then Bubba Wallace needs to be arrested immediately.
No. The garage pulldowns were always there.
Its just that the deranged liberals live in an alternate universe where every single thing must be racist. They are like horses with blinders on. Their view is so limited.
Earlier, I posted an article of this black guy who saved a police officer from a burning patrol car after the latter was involved in an accident. The guy had been in prison before for some BS. He actually had the balls to disarm another man from his weapon. Dude is a true hero.
I have been preaching that we need to come together. There are those that resist that notion. That's fine. We are a country that allows independent thought and we have a lot of freedoms.
Right now, I am thinking about the argument about peaceful protests and violent rioting and the effectiveness of both.
I think one of the things that hit home for me when I was younger was the story of young protestors putting flowers in the barrels of rifles. That captured my attention and wanted me to support that cause much more than the brick-throwing, fire-setting protestors in other places.
Here is one video of the story:
We want change. Be smart. Learn how to escalate change instead of furthering the divide and giving them reasons to hate us.
No, he is saying there hate crimes against blacks long before Trump entered the office. I also think that trying to blame every single incident on Trump actually weakens the idea that we still have a long way to go in improving race relations.
I don't remember this much hate from four years ago. I mean I know people hated Obama,,, but I have asked why and most times, I get nothing real.. Just perceived.
Going back on this very site, I remember when he was doing what he could to save the Auto Industry,,, we had people on this board saying we'd all be driving Hugo type vehicles made by GM (government motors) that never happened..
We were all supposed to lose our guns,,,, That never happened..
Most of the time he had to deal with a hostile congress so when he wanted to do something, he had to use executive orders..
I also remember an attempt to get everyone insured... Wasn't a good plan but a good effort.. One that Republicans have been trying to dismantle since day one and haven't been able to.. Just talk.
And then there was the time Obama wore a tan suit... The shame of it all.
But once Trump started in on his campaign of hate, things just got worse and worse.. It's like all the loons out there suddenly had a voice

Go back and read the posts on the first page of this thread. The over-the-top rhetoric is ridiculous.
The over-reaction that occurs and is stoked before the facts of the/a matter are known is actually frightening. When the facts ultimately come out, the sheople who went koo-koo at the onset seem to not know what was ultimately learned.
Six months into his Presidency, Obama commented on a police arrest of a black Harvard professor. While admitting that he did not know all the facts, Obama stated that the police "acted stupidly" and inferred that race/racism played a part in the arrest. Not knowing the facts did not result in him measuring his words. He accused the police of being stupid and racist. When the facts came out, it was the professor who was acting stupidly and playing the race card.
The Genie was let out of the bottle. George Zimmerman was described as a "white" Hispanic by the media. I had not heard of such a thing before that incident or since.
Remember "Hands Up Don't Shoot"? Michael Brown Jr's hands were not up before he was shot. They were inside a police car pummeling an officer. Uninformed comments flew like a bird and NFL players peacefully protested the murder by running onto the filed with their hands up. When the facts came out, many looked the other way. I still see protestors holding up signs saying 'hands up don't shoot'. Do they even KNOW that the event that created that slogan actually had nothing to do with that slogan? I think not.
This year's events of two black men being killed by police has ignited another round of protests. Rightfully so. The question I have is why were these events automatically assumed to be acts of racism before any investigation took place? Not just proclaimed acts of racism by 5-or-so cops, but became the "proof" of widespread racism - and systemic racism - all across America.
Do we know that the actions of these cops were fueled by racism? Or do we just know that black men were killed by white officers while being arrested for committing a crime...AND...resisting arrest? Neither man deserved to die during the incidents, but why is racism automatically assumed and accepted?
Let's say that an investigation determines that race did - in fact - fuel the cops' actions. Does that mean that the entire nation of non-blacks are racist as well? Let's say the investigation shows no racial intent by the officers - like the noose in the NASCAR garage. Will the accusers backtrack on their claims? Will the people hear the facts of the investigation and back down on the over-the-top rhetoric?
It seems like the country has tilted towards an assumption of guilt rather than of innocence. Instant judgement without a hint of investigation. Such reactions are totally UN-American and go against our Constitution, our freedoms and way of life. If it weren't frightening, we could see just how sad/wrong that is.
Exactly, The Hands Up Don't Shoot movement is based on a lie. Reminds me of when Sherrif Clarke made Don Lemon's head explode in an interview one time.

I agree with this. It is frightening.
But it's not just they don't know what has been learned. What has been learned is completely disregarded and they've moved onto the next thing.
LOL - The Rish will be upset with this news as well. KS just doesn't prioritize winning...
I think both yours and Willie's were clear and concise posts. I commend you and appreciate your ability to write passionately while also maintaining clarity in explaining your position.
I completely agree with you, in that what you described is a portion of the overall race issue/debate that's raging right now. I don't think it takes away from examples such as George Floyd. It shouldn't anyway. No amount of whatabout'ing can change the fact that that man was murdered by a cop that wasn't fit to wear the uniform in the first place.
But this and Jussie Smollet also happened. This situation, it seems, wasn't so much a hoax as it was our media and others blowing something up before all (or any) of the facts were there to support it. I hope (but I doubt) that the people that elevated this to the level it's at are taken to task. I hope that those that are involved but aren't responsible (Bubba?) can come through unscathed.
There is no level of sucking we haven't seen; in fact, I'm pretty sure we hold the patents on a few levels of sucking NOBODY had seen until the past few years.

So now it's be nice and don't blame Trump for the current atmosphere his words incite to an even higher level? Wow!
No kidding. All trump and his supporters can do is project their every flaw onto others. It’s disgustingly weak and cowardly.
Very good point Vers, regardless of the other responses from people who obviously posted in the wrong thread.

Pfffft... the "I can't read" era.
There you go. ProjectImg your flaws onto others. Good job.

Well we won't be driving cars from GM or Ford as they are both getting out of the car business. Trucks and SUV's as far as the eye can see.
Also, what's up with the fried chicken bit in this thread earlier? When did fried chicken become a stereotyped food? Both of my grandmothers had their treasured passed down recipes they took pride in. My wife's grandmother in Scotland made "the greatest ever" fried chicken. It's one of my favorite meals. I can't even recall ever meeting a person that didn't like fried chicken, unless they didn't eat meat.
The noose and flag removal have caused the lowest ratings ever? How about mismanagement of a pandemic that is killing people. Trump has killed US civilians for ratings and reelection attempt. He must be removed. _____________________________________________ Trump 2020 / MAWA / Make America White Again
Wallace never saw the rope. He said Phelps came to see him Sunday night at the track with “tears running down his face.” He also told CNN: “ It was a noose. Whether it was tied in 2019 ... it is a noose. ”
Phelps said Nascar had determined the noose was not in place when the October 2019 race weekend began but was created at some point during that weekend,” he said. “Given that timing and the garage access policies and procedures at the time, we were unfortunately unable to determine with any certainty who tied this rope in this manner or why it was done.”
And BTW NASCAR ratings are higher right now since this incident. Higher then they’ve been for 5-6 years.

Triggered again....Who’s the alt left leader? Common name the alt left leader? Who Bubba Wallace? Kap? Pffft Versitile and his hate filled rants.
Wallace was successful in getting your racist flag thrown in the trash by NASCAR. And your boy trump started tweeting racists rants towards Wallace and you all support trump. Pffft trump and his supporters.
