Interesting title. This is something that has never happened before. A member of a president's family while he is still in office writes a book detailing life inside the family.
Think about that.
Now she can go on trump's list of enemies. He can call her a nut job or wacko or some other derogatory word.
Just like Mattis, Kelly, MacMaster, Bolton, Cohen, Tillerson those once hired inside people who are now enemies.
I am certain - just like all the other Trump insiders who were "the best people" up until the point they dared criticize Donald - she will be attacked and vilified. The overwhelming preponderance of first hand accounts of exactly who Donald is and what his ultimate self serving character is like will be ignored or deflected by those that choose to support him. Hopefully one day the truth and transparency will come to bear on him and how and what he's done as POTUS.
The Party told you to reject the evidence of your eyes and ears. It was their final, most essential command.

I think overall, what this means and says is that that entire family is messed up! The family member I mostly worry about is Barron.. Seems like a nice kid....

That’s what everybody said about Donald until he was old enough to grab crotch.
"The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants." Thomas Jefferson.
First, it is an embarrassment to the Untied States that he was elected.
Second, it is a tragedy that he is president as this nation confronts Covid 19.
Third, it is a obstruction of justice that he was not impeached by the Senate and driven from office.
The damage this man has caused this country is incalculable.
How does the GOP 'dump' Trump? It's the only shot they have of retaining the Oval Office. Biden will crucify him in November...
Biden may win but I doubt it will be a "crucify" level of victory. As was posted, Trump has too many supporters who have gone all in and can't back away....
She's already said, on cnn I believe, that she has no proof........just family tales.
What people don't realize is this: If you want to write a book, it better have all kinds of scoops. They don't need to be verified, or true. Just make accusations, and reel in the money.

umm, thats exactly how Trump became president. its literally the same playbook and you voted for him.
he didnt write his own book, said a whole bunch of unverified and false information, and made a crap ton of accusations.
and you, Arch, went "yep!! thats my guy!!"
you dont have room to say much.

“To announce that there must be no criticism of the President, or that we are to stand by the President, right or wrong, is not only unpatriotic and servile, but is morally treasonable to the American public.”
Dude is already in my life more than I care for. Not about to dedicate more time to him.
I said something similar last night and it got lost after Pit went off on one of his tangents, but I don't trust any politicians.
I think they all freaking suck ass. I want them to have as little influence over my life as possible. I tolerate them because I have to. But, I don't follow their advice.
I don't believe in any of them. I don't think a single one of them has the general public's best interests at heart.
Politicians are like mosquitoes, gnats, flies, etc. Annoying disturbances to our everyday life. Blood-sucking, disease-carrying blights on our society. I'd rather swat them w/a fly swatter than follow them.

Eric Trump is from the same family. He said about cousin Mary, pfft, Every family has one.
The same Eric Trump who posted pictures of Clinton and Epstein with the "Birds of a feather" quote, while ignoring all the pictures of his own dad with Epstein too? That Eric Trump?
J/c I think most Trump supporters would probably agree that he's not a nice person. They support him because of his policies or perceived policies. That said I think the more people we see come out and expose the depths of his narcissism and nastiness probably does highlight who Donald is and what his motivation is. Jmo. The list bonefish put up coupled with insights from people who have worked closely with him, including the writer who worked with him on his book ..... There is a very consistent image presented.

Trump has never been a politician. He is trying to run the US like he would run a business. to him "losing money" just doesn't compute to him. I applaud his tenacity and not wanting to lose money doing things.
However, in case of COVID 19 he needs to bite the bullet, extend the CARES Act PPP, Extend the Pandemic Unemployment Assistance. Yes we will lose money because of this, but these are crazy circumstances right now. Even many Republicans in the house are beginning to change their tune on this because they see what is happening. Under normal conditions I would agree with him trying to avoid losing money, but right now we have to keep the money pumping until we can get past this and get the economy going again.
Trump isn't used to public service, he is used to firing people who don't tow the line and replace them with someone else. He struggles with this. He is just now kinda starting to realize you can't do that, but it took him 3 and half years to realize it. I just think he is more a businessman than anything and the transition to public office was a big jump for him that he still isn't quote comfortable with.
I don't think he handled COVID 19 well, I don't think he handled the riots and protests well, but he did do well with the pre-COVID economy and stock market. Its really tough.
The Us government wasn't prepared to handle COVID 19. I don't care if Bush Jr or Obama was in office not much would have changed..they just didn't have the resources in place to deal with it, all of them would have been scrambling just like Trump was because that failure just isn't on one president, that failure goes back many administrations.
Trump certainly isn't a nice person, I agree with some of his policies, but not all of them.
He also has the diehard racism vote, the 2A militant vote, most evangelicals still hoping to end abortion rights, and those still trying to justify their 2016 vote... That's the 30% that will NEVER abandon him.

He doesn't have the vote of anyone except conservatives and the Republican base. Claiming all Republicans are racists just isn't fair. Calling people who exercise their 2nd amendment rights as militants just isn't fair either. Its a blatant demagoguery.
With this mentality how can we ever hope to ever work together on anything?

I don't think the response was entirely Trump's fault, but I do think Obama or Bush would have done much better with the response. Trump actively worked against the correct response. He talked it down and called it a hoax. He disbanded the very team Obama set up to help with this kind of situation. He refused to wear a mask, and said you shouldn't, even in a mask production facility, causing thousands of masks to be thrown out due to shear ineptitude. He dismisses every expert who goes against anything he says.
I didn't call all republicans/conservatives these things. I said he has the votes of people WHO DO fit those categories. Not every republican 2A person is militant, but those that storm statehouses with weapons damn sure are. And the Nazis, KKK, white supremacists, and immigration bigots will show up for him because they think he's one of them.
With this mentality how can we ever hope to ever work together on anything?
Voting him out will help. I mean you are talking about Trump here, right?
Some of you can't seem to grasp that it all starts at the top.
That would if we had a viable alternate candidate. Joe Biden is NOT a viable candidate to the majority of America, he is worse than Trump and Trump isn't exactly the ideal candidate.
You think Trump hates minorities? Just wait if Biden would happen to get in. Biden HATES people with Brown colored skin.
If you won't listen to me, listen to her. She hates Trump but still won't vote for Biden who is racist beyond belief. You want to see more Blacks and Latinos than ever before in the history of this country in prison? Vote for Biden.
Quote:
Furthermore, Have you seen Joe Biden's "Gun Control" plan...this is absolutely insane, he will turn half the county into felons.
There is no way I can in good conscience vote for Joe Biden. Understand, im not a big fan of Trump, but Trump IS in this case the LESSER of the two evils.
Now are your elected leaders supposed to work for you Pitt? Our are you supposed to work for them? How can I, in good faith, vote for a guy who says he don't work for me, that he is "above me" Say what you will about Trump, but he has always said "He works for us" not the other way around like Biden.
Joe Biden is NOT a viable candidate, he has embraced all the far left radical positions on healthcare, gun ownership, property ownership, social issues, and employment.
Obama warned that the average American voter does not align with views from “certain left-leaning Twitter feeds or the activist wing of our party.”
“Even as we push the envelope and we are bold in our vision we also have to be rooted in reality,” “The average American doesn’t think we have to completely tear down the system and remake it.”
Joe Biden is not rooted in reality. He is un-electable to a large majority of the nation. Obama only endorsed him because he owed Biden for helping him get elected.
Trump is bad, but Biden is worse. We got nothing to vote for.
