We have all been at each other's throats a lot lately due to Covid and the social unrest issues. I am posting this to be humorous, but as always, a bit of truth might be involved.

Who would you pick to play the role of certain board members should we make a movie of DawgTalkers? The actors can be alive or not. LOL

Here are mine.

Clem: Wynton Marsalis. For those of you who have never heard of that dude, how about Morgan Freeman?

40: Lee Van Cleef.

Rocket: Dude who played Richard Jewell.

Swish: Ice Cube.

Jester: J.D. Dorian

Eve: Kathy Bates

Pit: Danny Trejo

Me: Robert DeNiro

GM: Danny DeVito

888: Pinocchio

Rish: This dude:

cfrs: Jeff Goldblum

Memphis: Anthony Hopkins

Diam: The dude who played Norm on Cheers.

device: Edward Norton [research it]

guard: Denzel

Mom: Mother Theresa

Turk: Chadwick Boseman

Purp: Charles Atlas

I'm not a fat old woman, but nice try. You just picked her because she tied the guy to the bed.

I have been laughing for about 5 minutes since reading that. I honestly thought it started out as an antagonistic post, but some of them were so spot on and funny I can't help but laugh.

I think you nailed Clem (Morgan Freeman), Swish, Eve, device, Diam, and Turk. I'm undecided on the others.

And I'm not as funny as Ben Stiller.

It was meant to be funny, but I admit that I added some snark to it. Sorry about that, but I could not help it.

Actually, you were not Ben Stiller. I meant the other dude. LOL.......just messin' w/ya. I know you play pick-up basketball and man.............those sweaty guys are something else. I swear it was just a joke on that one.

Way back in the 80s, there was a show called Thirtysomething. It was some angst filled psuedo-soapy prime time show. One of the actors was Tim Busfield. He played a character named Elliot. I was managing a drive thru at the time, and I had all of these women coming thru saying "You look just like Elliot". One day I was flipping through the TV Guide. (the magazine) I saw this picture of .... me, staring back at me. Kinda scary. I was going to send them a picture and ask them if they wanted him to have a brother. rofl However, I realized that I would have to spew all of the crap they did, so instead I did the only sensible thing ..... and told all those women that I was his little brother. crazy

People used to say I looked like Ferris Bueller, but that was a loooooong time ago. Now, I'd imagine I'm an old, balding, mostly deaf Ferris with a cool brain surgery scar and glasses. Not sure if that fits the concept of the thread.

I didn't know who Peter Dinklage was so I had to look it up. Man, if I had been drinking something it would have been all over the place.

This is the best thread ever.

Ok. On Game Of Thrones Peter Dinklage played probably the best most endearing character and got laid the most.

Yes, that is why I started it. There is a lot of tension right now due to the virus and racial discord. I made this to poke fun at one another in a light-hearted manner. I probably messed up some of the matches, but it was just meant to be fun.

I think cfrs wins with this post, especially calling himself The Rock - Good stuff.

Vers - I think you are pretty spot on with J.D. Dorian for me.

'peen - how'd you come up with John Travolta? I am a pretty bad ass dancer though.

Allright, googled Lou Reed, I don't get it, not familiar with his music.

Versatile Dog,- Borris Karloff: see here's why, -played Dracula, Dracula, a vampire does not cast a shadow into a mirror, therefore would not own any mirrors,

IE. Sometimes Vers, - Borris Karloff: does not seem to own a mirror.

Kathy Bates, was involved in one of the three of the best, memorable scenes of a delightlfully dysfunctional move called "Delores Clayborne"

Scene 1, the description of "you had a Bad Patch" rofl oh shoot, I'm seriously laughing

Scene 2, getting the husband to fall down the well, but
the most most amazing line from this Tragic Tragic horror filled mess of a movie,

The line from the Husband, after he hits her in the gut with the fire log and the Husbands line,
" She runs her mouth and suddenly she don't want to (something) no more"

Delores Clayborne - Kathy Bates. That haunts me. "ya ever touch me again and one of us is ending up in the boneyard" Gee that was a scary movie.
