i envy the interviewer. he showed so much patience. so. much. patience.
“To announce that there must be no criticism of the President, or that we are to stand by the President, right or wrong, is not only unpatriotic and servile, but is morally treasonable to the American public.”
Just another little snippet of the interview for those we know that will not watch it...
“I find a lot of people impressive,” Trump added. “I find many people not impressive. But no, he didn’t come to my inauguration. He didn’t come to my State of the Union speeches, and that’s okay. That’s his right. And, again, nobody has done more for Black Americans than I have. He should’ve come. I think he made a big mistake.”
Why does that bolded part sound so familiar?

this dude was trashing mail-in ballots the entire time. now a complete flip flop.
Trump supporters spent all this effort trying to defend the president. well, what say ye?

It's a funny thing isn't it? Trump now votes in Florida and took some heat for voting by mail there. So now he makes Florida the exception to the rule.
His claim was the reason he voted by mail was because he is in Washington. But that never stopped his ass from golfing in Florida now did it? He can make regular golfing trips to Florida but can't seem to make it there to vote. Hmmm...
Just like pushing everyone to open schools while Baron's school is all virtual learning. Since he believes so strongly that kids should be in the classroom, I wonder why he isn't finding Baron a school where students have to go in person?

Fact-checking 22 claims from Donald Trump's Axios interview
President Donald Trump is interviewed July 28, 2020. (HBO/Axios) link
In a rare sit-down interview at the White House, President Donald Trump repeated a slew of misleading claims aimed at painting a rosy picture of the United States’ coronavirus response.
During the nearly 40-minute one-on-one, which Axios filmed on July 28 and aired on HBO Aug. 3, political reporter Jonathan Swan quizzed the president about several of the issues that have defined the past six months. Among them: why the president has suggested he won’t accept the outcome of the election, whether Trump knew about reports of Russian bounties on American soldiers and why the coronavirus death rate is on the rise.
"Right now, I think it’s under control," Trump said, referring to the pandemic.
"How? 1,000 Americans are dying a day," Swan asked.
"They are dying — that’s true. And it is what it is," Trump responded. "But that doesn’t mean we aren’t doing everything we can. It’s under control as much as you can control it."
Trump’s comments contained a mix of half-truths, missing context and outright falsehoods. We fact-checked several of the most questionable claims below.
It only works if he does the interviews and does decent. What’s happening instead is trump does these interviews and does nothing but make everything worse.
He’s doing Biden’s work for him. Work smart, not hard.

i personally loved that Trump once again bashed athletes for kneeling, and called BLM a marxist group.
why? because i love a republican who like digging their own grave.
Trump and the republicans has no platform to run on in 2020, no vision, no agenda, no nothing. say what you want about the Dems, because at least they have shared vision, goals, and can unite to pass legislation.
conservatives and centrist whined and whined about liberals and identity politics, NEVER criticized trump and the MAGA hatters for playing the identity politics game, like NOW.
and because of that, a massive blue tsunami is coming in 2020. the republican party might LOSE more seats in the house.
Trump wants to wage a culture war.
please Trump, keep it up til election day. im loving it.

Was that Biden answering those tough questions from the Press?
Oh, never mind, it was President Trump again.
And watching that interview was the perfect example why Biden's smartest move is to just sit back and let the man talk.
That actually IS bidens best plan. Go to about 1:20 in this clip:
Dude can't speak.
His handlers did a great job with this vid. Notice, sitting inside, he's wearing sunglasses so you can't see his eyes as he's reading the teleprompter. Also, fantastic work with the 'google board' so he can pull off a sticky note to read the question. And also notice how cut up the vid is.
Yes, biden's best bet is to stay in his basement, no doubt.
“To announce that there must be no criticism of the President, or that we are to stand by the President, right or wrong, is not only unpatriotic and servile, but is morally treasonable to the American public.”
On a side note - check out Joe's teeth in his 'live' interviews, then check out his teeth in still photos. Either the dude brushes for the stills and doesn't for the vid's, or they are photo shopped.
We live in a country where you simply can't believe what you see, or hear, unless it's coming out of the horses mouth.
I think Biden needs to address the American people. Voting for him just because you don't like Trump is not good enough. We need to hear from Joe. He needs to debate and show us why we should vote for him.
That is my opinion. I won't vote for a man who hides during an election. Be a man, Joe!
I think he should debate Trump. I think he should speak to the issues that are facing this country. I don't think he should hide in the corner while his protectors poke fun at his opponent.
Awesome. Like I said, I want to hear what he has to say. Thus far, all I hear is Trump bashing.
I have some serious questions about how the Dems are going to run this country. I have never voted for a Republican in my life, but the Democratic party has really changed. They used to support the working man. Now, they seemingly want to exploit the working man. I want to hear their plans for hard--working, law-abiding citizens before I decide on whom to vote for.
“To announce that there must be no criticism of the President, or that we are to stand by the President, right or wrong, is not only unpatriotic and servile, but is morally treasonable to the American public.”
I don't think anyone would say Biden is an eloquent speaker. How much of that is attributable to his stutter is unclear.
But if we are both being honest, if even none of Biden's screw ups related to the stutter, Trump has just as many gaffes and weird off the wall comments.
Just the sad sad state of politics in this country

The difference between Jesus and religion Religion mocks you for having dirty feet Jesus gets down on his knees and washes them
my support for biden goes waaaaayyy past biden, much how MAGA hatters *like* to claim with regards to trump, but don't actually practice in real life.
i made it clear i didn't want biden the nominee, but here we are. potential SC judge, federal judge vacancies, Bills that the democratic house have passed with *hopefully* a democratic senate and Biden will actually sign the bills.
because unlike Republicans, the democrats - like their policies or not - are actually capable of working together and getting policies passed, because they have shared goals.
Republican party is the 'every man for himself' party. and like muslim extremist, they love blowing up their own people in order to save themselves. only thing they were capable of uniting around was giving the wealthy and their corporate slave masters the biggest tax cuts this century. couldn't get a damn thing done after that, and Nacy Pelosi continues to dragging them all across DC at every turn.
Biden is a placeholder, nothing more. and thats fine with me, because at least he won't be an embarrassment on the world stage.
i can not wait to vote this racist, bigoted, trash ass disgusting pig out of office this november. he's a disease that needs to be cleansed out of the oval.
