I don't doubt him being a real fan. I just don't feel a sense of objectivity makes you lesser of a fan. That's a factual statement...I agree. But Zegura is a real fan + a paid fan. The sum equals "rah rah" beyond "us fans" reasonable behavior. He does a good job imho. I guess I should have explained but it goes along with what I posted earlier that resembles your comment. He's a paid corporate spokesperson. As such it is his job to market the team via his show.
Intoducing for The Cleveland Browns, Quarterback Deshawn "The Predator" Watson. He will also be the one to choose your next head coach.

Nick Chubb and Myles Garrett are both practicing today. Today will be Garrett’s first time doing team drills.

My conspiracy theory is that they Garrett isn’t hurt, they just didn’t want him roasting Wills from the jump.

Also, quick Mack Wilson update. Team still waiting for swelling to go down on his hyperextended knee, per source, but surgery looking less likely at this point, which is an encouraging sign. David Njoku was out today due to a wrist injury https://twitter.com/Jake_Trotter/status/1297268234153086977

Scheduled 21 days 18 hours until kickoff Browns at Ravens, Sept. 13th 1:00 pm.
Are you kidding me?
Are you freaking kidding me! Seems like there ain't no way in Pat Benotar that anyone actually plays football; a world away.

Can Deshaun Watson play better for the Browns, than Baker Mayfield would have? ... Now the Games count.

Hell is for children, Pat, and also Browns fans.
You should dial it back with the histrionics, btw. I think Pacino has to play Throw Long. Different thread., but I was suddenly inspired.

Good news about Garrett, Chubb, and possibly Wilson
"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Cooper is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Moore is flanked out wide to the right. Chubb and Ford are split in the backfield as Watson takes the snap ... Here we go."

Been listening to Zegura since he's been hosting that show CBD. Everybody looks like a All-Pro to him. Him and his candy store adjectives describing and over hyping 6th RD picks. He was all gushy and fluffy over Dorsey and Kitchens last year. How did that turn out Nate? Like I said, that is his job. What don't you get?

Maybe he thinks why would anyone waste time listening to him when they know his job is sell the team to the public rather than provide honest evaluations? I don't hold anything against the guy. He came across as a good guy when I did watch him. I just stopped listening because the reports were not accurate or sincere. I don't listen to preachers going off or salesman at my door, either. To each their own.

Mack Wilson ‘definitely has a chance’ to return this season; Kevin Johnson could return early in the year: Browns injury update https://www.cleveland.com/browns/2020/08...ury-update.htmlBy Mary Kay Cabot, cleveland.com BEREA, Ohio — Browns linebacker Mack Wilson “definitely has a chance” to return this season, and cornerback Kevin Johnson could be back fairly early in the season, sources tell cleveland.com. Wilson, who suffered a hyperextended knee on Tuesday, has been healing well this week, and the hope is that he won’t have to undergo season-ending surgery. He’ll have more exams when the swelling goes down, and he’ll still get a second opinion from noted orthopedic surgeon Dr. James Andrews. But those close to Wilson are increasingly optimistic he’ll be on the field at some point this season. As for Johnson, he was released from the hospital on Friday after suffering a lacerated liver on Wednesday, but it’s not as serious as the lacerated kidney suffered by Browns safety Jordan Poyer in 2016. That injury took Poyer about four months to recover from. As far as lacerations go, Johnson’s was fairly minor, and he could possibly make it back in the first quarter of the season if all goes well. Johnson, who was having an excellent camp, will be evaluated on a week-to-week basis, but the prognosis appears to be good. He’ll be back in the building once he passes the COVID-19 testing protocol again. In other Browns injury news today: * Defensive end Myles Garrett participated in team for the first time in camp after missing the first five days with a hamstring injury. The players were in shells today, so it was a lighter, non-contact practice, but the Browns were happy to their star defensive end back. Garrett, who promised to “introduce” rookie left tackle Jedrick Wills Jr. to the NFL and give him all he’s got, lined up on the left side against Jack Conklin on Saturday, and that could continue on and off for awhile while Wills Jr. works some against Olivier Vernon. In addition to giving Wills time to work up to Garrett, Conklin will also get ready by going against him. * Running back Nick Chubb returned to the field from his concussion but was limited. Again, it was a lighter practice, but Chubb looked no worse for the wear and tear. He ran and moved well, and didn’t appear to be going at a slower pace. When the pads go on Sunday, he’ll still likely be limited. * Receiver KhaDarel Hodge, who’s also been having an excellent camp, missed Saturday for a personal reason. * TE David Njoku sat out Saturday’s practice with a wrist injury. He’s experiencing soreness in the wrist that he had surgically repaired last season and that caused him to miss 10 games. * Punter Jamie Gillan, who missed the previous two practices with an undisclosed illness, was back on the field Saturday. * Other players idle on Saturday: DE Robert McCray (eye), DT Larry Ogunjobi (groin), WR Damion Ratley (groin), and C JC Tretter (knee). * Two players left today’s practice with issues: C Casey Dunn a foot and WR Donovan Peoples-Jones with heat cramps.

I'm just wondering who the people are that didn't see this coming? And the actual players for the most part are young and in great shape. But all across the league there are members of the coaching staff, medical staff and supporting staff that may not fair so well.

Possibly, perhaps probably, false positives. I don't know that I'd say most likely. I wouldn't be too surprised if this was the NFL COVID group's/Goodell's (dumb) idea of a drill/test.

Seriously? Paint the light that covid is spreading among NFL teams as a "drill/test"?
That would be the worst thing from a marketing standpoint he could do.

I really hope this doesn’t happen all year, though it might. Testing is an issue.
Could you imagine if this happened on the Sunday in 3 weeks
"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Cooper is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Moore is flanked out wide to the right. Chubb and Ford are split in the backfield as Watson takes the snap ... Here we go."

We are going to be lucky to win 3 games this year.

That would be the worst thing from a marketing standpoint he could do. Maybe not. Schools run fire drills 5-6 times a year. It doesn't hurt to see how teams respond.

I don't understand why teams can't use a local lab? Does it take special equipment? Is it a dip test? Microscope? Do you need electron microscopes?
Maybe the NFL wants control so teams don't fudge figures. There might be 150 tests to do daily. How many people would be needed to swab each morning? How many lab techs would be needed to perform that many tests?
How many tests over 8 hours? Actually 7 hours, allowing a couple of 15 minute coffee breaks and 30 minutes for lunch. Have boxed lunches waiting so they can dig right in and still have adequate restroom time, break time to chill. Maybe give a hour for lunch on 9 hour shifts....most people do something like that anyway.

We are going to be lucky to win 3 games this year. Why? This team was already in difficulty with a new coaching staff. They then lost the off-season programs. Then they lost the preseason games. A young team with a new staff needs time to learn things inside and out. The new staff needs time to learn what players do best. Shutting down and starting back up and shutting down just doesn't allow that time.

Usually based on more testing and the complete Void of any symptoms of the virus.
Let me know how many of these positive tests end up Hospitalized and in a Pandemic ICU???

but, I bet all of those were counted as positives and not removed from the running totals nationwide.... and, I bet this is indicative of a MUCH larger issue of false positives and associated spikes, and I'm betting the average person doesn't get a re-tests to clear things up the way this multi-billion dollar industry does.

I wonder how that works with coaching staffs, medical and supporting staffs that must accompany the teams? Are they reporting them to the public?
As I said, it would be normal to expect young people in good physical shape not to feel the impact of serious Covid symptoms. It's all the other people and staff that run the most risk.

Peterson from the Iggles got it and is fine now ... some staff and coaches in baseball have gotten it and if any of them went to the hospital it wasn’t reported ...
Fat asses that don’t take care of themselves like Reid and others best not be morons .. if they choose to get down on the field and mix it up .. THATS ON THEM ... there well aware of the risk ... just like GM, if he allows folks who don’t wear masks to be around him ... its on him as he knows the risk ...
I’m pretty sure Kev and Joe and Alex aren’t really all that worried as they’ve taken care of themselves and are younger than a Reid or any of the other out of shape/older coaches ...
