Do not like seeing Landry on the list. Is this a new injury or just a precaution?

My guess is precaution on a short week.

I believe he got rolled up on. I saw him get up limping. It was an ankle, just not sure which.

Thanks.

That would be a significant loss, especially w/Hubbard already hobbled.

Considering he played the rest of the game on it, and the fact he is a beast of a man I’m thinking he is going to able to go.

Plus I don’t want to see Hubbard on the field this week.

Dang, not good to lose Conklin

"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Cooper is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Moore is flanked out wide to the right. Chubb and Ford are split in the backfield as Watson takes the snap ... Here we go."

It should be said the Landry and Conklin increased their practice time today, according to CBD.

If Conklin practices at all that’s a good sign that he will play.

well, that should set up at least one really bad Dad Joke by the announcers.

Lol, so both starting tackles, the primary backup tackle and our starting center may be out. Oof

Their DL will be very shorthanded

Thursday night games are the worst. I've said it before, every team playing a Thursday night game should be coming off a bye or the start of the season. And if that means some Thursday game are skipped, so be it. Most Thursday games are unwatchable.

If we use him as a big nickel replacing Thomas, I don't think it could hurt.

Tavierre Thomas playing on defense gave me, not good, flashbacks to Johnson Bademosi playing defense.

I've held out as long as I could, but I'm starting to come around on Vernon. Hurt before the 2nd game? Ugh...

Glad we came out of Week 2 relatively unscathed. We have a couple extra days to heal up.

Yup.
It doesn't help that we lost Clayborn to the hip injury during the game, too. Thankfully, Gustin stepped up. We ended up playing Joe Jackson - our 3rd string DE - quite a bit last night. We shouldn't be at this point this early. Our depth at DE is depleted.

I missed that about Clayborn. Shoot.

I was hoping he might be OK until bye. Seems like any week is bye-bye week. Already?

Quote:
Cleveland Browns defensive end Adrian Clayborn is dealing with an injury that may linger this season.

Clayborn left Thursday night's win over the Bengals with a hip flexor strain but hopes to play through it while getting treatment, a source told NFL Network's Tom Pelissero.

He wasn't brought in to start and play extended snaps. The guy is old and a situational pass rusher, albeit a good one. Gustin looks to have some game.

Man, Nick Bosa and Barkley out for the season. McCaffrey out 4-6 weeks. Jimmy G probably out for a bit.
