Before the season begins all the talking and ranking and hype come out. Every station has their expert team of analysts. They bring in fantasy people. They have computer analytics that predict the games and season.
Then football camp begins. A few players are gone for the year. Then pre-season games happen. And a few more guys go down. This is before a single season game.
Now two games into the season and look around at how many guys are hurt.
All the pre- season talk goes out with the bath water.
The rosters have 53 players and this year more options because of covid.
You better have depth. Because a season can end quick with injuries. Lose your quarterback. Lose key linemen. Lose a player like Myles. Lose a couple starting corners.
All of a sudden you don't look so good.
Has nothing to do with injury prone. Has everything to do with guys get hurt. It just happens.
Sometimes by season end alot depends on team health and how good your depth is.

That’s a decently big injury for Washington I thikn
"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Jeudy is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Tillman is flanked out wide to the right. Judkins and Ford are split in the backfield as Flacco takes the snap ... Here we go."

Seemed like a bad spot for that camera to be at. Are they always that close to the field? I don't recall seeing one that close.

Carr suffers from the same disease as Baker. Can't see the field.

He’s getting it done tonight on third down, though. He seems to make decisions fairly quickly, at least that’s what I’m seeing. No deeper balls though, all short stuff.
I like these MNF announcers and that stadium is beautiful.

Yeah, he got really hot right after I said that.
I will say that I was talking about his reads. He was not seeing guys that were open and kept checking down. But, you're right, he went on a tear there and made me look dumb. LOL

Lol, I didn’t see open guys but that’s cuz I follow the ball; I just pointed out he seemed decisive and also, accurate.

If it's a horse collar tackle to just grab a player at the top of their back of their jersey and get their hand in there, then we might as well be watching two hand touch.
The player, earlier, released his grip and didn't even make the tackle, yet got a 15 yard penalty, ... the ball carrier never even left his feet, he just had his momentum halted a little and pulled into a shrunk towards the groud 10%, but he was still upright.
I mean, the NFL is just a disgrace to watch, the rules are making it so this, is not football.
Can Deshaun Watson play better for the Browns, than Baker Mayfield would have? ... Now the Games count.

it might work, but I don't think I would attempt a 54 yd. FG here.

I said the same thing at the time, and even though it worked I still would have punted and pinned them with no timeouts.
I admire the aggressiveness, though.

Saints don’t look as formidable as years past. Brees has definitely declined with his arm ... he barely looks past 5 yards anymore. I dont see them making much of a run in the playoffs

I suspect Waller will be a handful for the Browns when they play.
The Saints offense without Thomas looked pedestrian, especially Brees.

What the hell!?
Intoducing for The Cleveland Browns, Quarterback Deshawn "The Predator" Watson. He will also be the one to choose your next head coach.

if there's anyway for Tyrod to sue the team, he should absolutely do it, even if that means being released.
holy crap.

This. How is what happened even possible i.e., how can a doctor with that track record be the doctor for a professional sports franchise? Or maybe all doctors have this kind of track record and we just don't know it.

THIS doctor made a mistake. And yes, in medicine, a mistake is malpractice, of course. But the doc that impaled Tyrod's lung is not the one that had the whole list of screw ups. Maybe you knew that, and were referring to the previous doctor?

That’s crazy. I don’t think I’ve ever heard of that

Re: Tyrod's health Sounds like they tried to give him an intercostal nerve block. Complications like a pneumothorax are more common when there are multiple broken ribs involved. Random ICNB info Link Tyrod's luck is still pretty bad. There's only around a 5.6% occurence of complications, but it does happen. 5.6% reference link
