Minshew is a better Qb than Fitzpatrick, and a better Qb than this game will show, a better Qb over the long run, in spite of whatever happens in this game.
Gaskin did well. Fitzpatrick did well running.
Can Deshaun Watson play better for the Browns, than Baker Mayfield would have? ... Now the Games count.

Doesn't jump out as a defensive game by the Dolphins, but you know how hard it is to hold an NFL team to less than 20 through 3 quarters, just ask the Browns defense.

Miami is an interesting team. They have seemed to improve and have some playmakers that aren’t household names, but are decent. Fitzpatrick is also bipolar with his play

Let this game serve as an example as to why we did not pay Joe Shoebert top 10 LB money this offseason. I did not watch the whole game, but I did try to pay attention to Schobert. It did seem to my untrained eye that he didn't make more plays than he did make. Trailing the play. Didn't even look strong in coverage. Got juked by Fitz something fierce.

I think we need to come up with a name for the offense, this skulls and bones, piecemeal, scrap heap collection of plays that Miami called an offense
Because it's not just this game, I WISH there was a Name for this kind of offense, the Browns have used it many times before.
What do I mean, well, think of Derek Andersons' first 5 games of his career on the Browns,
Or think of Ken Dorsey in a Browns start, or Charlie Frye for two years of despair.
I'm talking about an offense that can end up winning a game, when you have NO Runningback, that anybody pays attention to, but get's a bunch of p poor plays, none of em any good,
NO plays of note from the offense, all day long.
A lousy quarterback, who nobody thinks is even a long term starter, IF he's a starter he's clearly, seemingly doing it with smoke and mirrors.
And A Quarterback WHO CAN'T RUN, having a lot of success running, but even SO, NONE of those runs are anything special.
The Quarterback is efficient, but none of the catches are anything to remember,
They put points on the board, but they look so bad doing it, the other team gets lazy because, obviously being soo much better/more qualified than this team,
the other team is sure they are going to not only come back, take the lead, but STILL, blow these losers out.
There needs to be a name for this offense, I don't know what it could be,
Not 3 yards and a cloud of dust, not air coreyell, not greatest show on terf, not run heavy, not the run and shoot, all of which people could understand
This offense needs a name, maybe the
3 legged dog offense. (Bad Qb, Bad RB, Bad passing game) + no big plays, + slop luck like bad pool table shots that go in, = potent offense.

So much for my prediction that they would win the Super Bowl. Btw...........that list is not even including Nick Bosa and Soloman Thomas, who are out for the entire year.

Really looking forward to the Chiefs vs Ravens game. Two of the top 4 QBs in the league right now. Two well-coached teams. Two teams w/good complimentary pieces, especially on the KC side.
Should be a great game.
