Remember how everyone keeps saying every year "it can't get any worse".

We keep forgetting about all these scenarios that we haven't even fathomed.

The odds of this one happening are high. It's the Browns.

Seibert kicks go ahead FG with :53 to go. Baker leads a hurry up drive to give Parkey a shot at the GW 32 yard FG with 3 seconds left on the clock. Parkey blasts one off the right upright. No good. Bengals win.

The double whammy.

They better get really close to the uprights so Seibert has a chance to make.

I look forward to Jojo Natson being able to return a kickoff or two this week if Seibert is playing.

That’d be fitting

I'll go with this... if and only if the play that leads to our FG attempt is the infamous Baker-shovel-pass-back-to-himself and it results in a huge completion to put us in range.

You have to take the fans to the pinnacle of "dark days are behind us" before you bring the hammer smashing down.

I think it's as much about them being curious about what our special teams are doing after the fake punt attempt as it is about his ability to kick.

He may be better than Barkley.

Barkley is very underwhelming to me, especially as a runner.

T.J. Ward has not been with the Broncos since 2016 and has been out of the league for the last two seasons.

Just sticking this in here as we talk about replacements. Who goes in for Jo Jo Natson? Not sure about who might be wanted/ needed or moved up. I was hoping to see more of him.

(Apologies Damonshot; not hijacking your stuff. I just read this and hoped somebody might know.) poke

At least as a backup WR, kick returner, but The decision has not been made yet about punt returner.

yeah he returned the punt after Natson was injured. He fell down and didn’t inspire much confidence haha. But he might be the guy

That is why I asked. Seems to me that we had stacked a number of hats on him for a number of things. I hope Peoples-Jones can step up and be a star. I might still be shopping. Thanks!

He is in the mix for punt returns if they don't think Jones is ready.

D'Ernest is the backup Punt Returner, but the #3 Kick Returner.
Peoples-Jones is the backup Kick Returner, but the #3 Punt returner.

Natson was the starter at both spots.
We will likely see both D'Ernest and DPJ regularly, now.

For as good as he is, and for a position that's not the easiest to fill in the NFL... for 2 teams to go, "nah, thanks" is saying something.

Especially since it's safe to assume he knows he needs to "slow his roll" and endear himself to any suitors at this point.

Wow, seriously... it was almost a foregone conclusion that he was signing with them. He must have walked in and punched the receptionist.

Maybe they don’t think he can get up to speed for this week but want to get him in the building. We’ll see if he gets promoted next week.

We’ve signed Ryan Switzer (WR - Steelers) to the practice squad ... I kinda like it

He was their returner for a couple years. Guessing it provides depth there, and he was an ok receiver.
