The Bullpen has been lights out except for Perez's one bad outing..
Betancourt, Lewis, Perez, Joe Bo, and Mastny have all done a terrific job so far...
Don't want to nitpick, but he gave up a HR to A-ROD, too. He did the same thing in against Detroit during the stretch run. I don't think Perez is on the same level as the others right now.

Perez is my boy, so you'd better watch it! While he certainly hasn't been as consistent as Betancourt, Perez was a big reason for us getting where we are. I still have faith when he comes in, more than I do in Borowski, at least.
I am unfamiliar with this feeling of optimism

Come on guys, this isn't necessary. Just celebrate the win.
I don't want any karma coming back and biting us in the butt.

you are nitpicking.....for a bull pen to have the type of success we've had is increditible, it's only gonna get harder & harder the deeper we go, Were gonna give up a run here or a run there, we need to expect it, lets just hope it happens when it dosent effect the outcome of a game....
but these guys have been light out.....and that just dosent happen all the time,

browniepoints said he has had "one" bad outing. I don't think it's poor form to mention he's had two bad outings. The HRs are concerning.

J/C Was at the game last night. The place was a rockin'. From my vantage point, Jake looked awesome. It looked like the ump was pinching him on the strike zone. I think Manny was struck out a couple of time in one at bat. Kenny is flat out clutch and I want him to finally get his ring, because if he gets HIS ring, I get mine after 41 years of frustration. I'm 2-0 in playoffs this year (3-0 lifetime). 12-3 Yankees beat down and last night. It looks like I have a line on Tix for Thursday. Lets win tonight so I can party hard Thursday night!!

The ump was all over the place last night.
A couple times they showed pitches easily inside the strike zone that he called balls, and pitches WAY out of the zone that he called strikes. Much more in favor of Boston, but we got a few breaks as well too.

How do these guys make it to the playoffs as the "best" umps? Last series there was that check swing that was pretty much anything but a check swing where the Yankee batter easily went through the zone and the home plate and third base ump (Bruce Froemming) said he didn't swing.

I've stayed off them as a favor to the Tribe fans, too bad they never show any of the same respect or class. Quit bringing up my name or I'll come back.

Well, this is a downer for me... I'm ecstatic that they won, but that means I can't watch any more postseason games. The two I missed in the ALCS were, you guessed it, wins. Stupid superstitions. Go Tribe!
I'm the same way so DON'T watch
I work with a guy orig from boston. He is both a Pats and Bo SoX fan. Everytime the Browns win he has some comment like "Feels good to ACTUALLY win huh?" blah blah blah.
All I am going to say today is,, "Nervous?"
Our honor defend, we will fight to the end, for OHIO! GO BUCKS!

My roommate is a BoSox and Pats fan too, though he is kind of lightly. I don't talk anything, but he loves to run his mouth... Would be perfect if the Tribe won the series, though I don't know what I would do. I could use all the good karma I could get. But yeah, I won't be watching. Hopefully it will be different in the WS, 'cause I don't want to sit around on the board waiting for the updates. No offense to anyone.
I want the Cleveland Browns to be my pallbearers so they can let me down for the last time.

I kind of hope the Red Sox do what the announcers were suggesting and pitch Beckett on 3 days rest. It would be sort of a panick move, and we could still pitch Byrd against him. Even if we were to lose, we'd get CC and Carmona two games in a row, with full rest, going up against their 2nd and 3rd best guys.
My fear right now is the weather. If this one tonite gets postponed, Beckett automatically gets his 4th day, and I believe Francona would then pull out the chocks; it wouldn't be such a "panicky" move .
The way things are going/have gone though, he does need to throw Beckett now (tonite) to potentially have him for Seven (whole game).
It's a
The Tribe just has to find a way to hit Wakefield; all else is then elementary.
