Another example why you don't hire from the Belichick tree. Although - somehow - Matt Patricia remains employed.

BTW, John McClain says Romeo Crennel is the interim HC in Houston.

We'll get to face the UFO defense, now.

Good for Romeo, though. I thought he got a bit of a raw deal here; I always liked him as our coach.

Was Romeo named the interim?

Insane moves. No 1st or 2nd? Fired sale.

What is Watt worth to a drowning franchise? Huey might be available . . . .

Happy for Romeo, just not the circumstances. He deserves better IMO.

Flores is coaching well with the roster he has in Miami.

Think they're gonna try Dorsey to try and improve the roster?

This was for sure no surprise.

Some of his moves as GM were enough. Watching JJ in the aftermath. He was not a happy man.

Maybe there are trade possibilities there.

They have a lot to fix and no draft capital to make it happen.

The De-hop trade put this all in gear. You don't take the number one weapon from your qb.

Hire him,

Shoot hire him this week, he knows all about the colts, same division.

I doubt they’d move Watt given his ties to the area and franchise, but you never know

Better get Lincoln Riley before Jerry does. Actually Bienemy probably gets his chance here.

only if Riley brings his offense and not his defense

I think Bienemy would be a good fit... wouldn't be surprised if Dorsey gets an interview as well here for GM...

I think Romeo was the one Belichick disciple that didn't try to emulate BB when he left the Patriots. He had that one year with the Browns but they could never get the QB right, and the defenses were never good enough to carry the teams. He's a tremendous coordinator though.

The rest of these guys leave New England and immediately try to be super-hardo. I don't think players buy it. Probably does more harm than good especially when you look at the Mangini situation. I really do think he's a good coach that just couldn't help himself.

It's tough in the NFL though, I always tell people, there are 32 head coaching jobs across the league, but I don't think there are 32 people on this planet who can properly handle that job.

I don't think Romeo is a good head coach.

Every time we get close to a quarterback we draft another. I think if we had stayed the course with DA and never drafted or forced Quinn to play we would have been better off. We wouldn't have been world beaters but we would have been better than we were.

I believe Mangini was one our better head coaches. We just had an issue with him doing it his way. I think he learned a lot from coaching the Jets and he was much better here. Some players weren't happy when he was fired. Had we given Mangini time we may not have been world beaters but we would have been better than we were.

I also think Josh McDaniels will be a heck of a HC when the time comes.

Intoducing for The Cleveland Browns, Quarterback Deshawn "The Predator" Watson. He will also be the one to choose your next head coach.

I don't feel sorry for them at all. They hired BOB, promoted BOB, and watched him trade franchise pieces for peanuts so he could overpay mediocre FAs.

I feel sorry for some of the players.

He signed a 20 million dollar contract in 2018. He'll be paid through 2022.

Now this is a job I'd like to be fired from.

Now that's a scary thought. The Texans are in the perfect spot to tank for Trevor though, so a trade somewhere for Watson wouldn't surprise me.
