Question for the board. 888, who makes numerous posts to me and about me each and every day of the year despite me not replying to him and at least one other poster have claimed that these PFF numbers are there for an "agenda," as if posting them is a bad thing.

I have posted the numbers as a favor for other board members who can't find them. However, if the board doesn't like to see the PFF grades, I will not take the time to go back and forth between screens to post them.

This personality crap needs to go. No one is forcing anyone to read the damn numbers. People give opinions all the time that are fueled by their beliefs. I don't think posting stats should be "censored" because a few people don't like them.

No, I have said I value PFF grades significantly. I think they are thorough and neutral. I didn't say posting the grades were bad - I have no idea how the rest of the board feels about the grades and you posting them ... what I did ask was why you posted Baker's to support your critique of him, posted every other starters grades/rank - but didn't post OBJ's.

As for the rest of it - you have mention me or replied to others or yourself while actually responding to a post a wrote lots of times, normally in a dismissive or mocking way. That's fine and your choice - this is a public football forum. All posts are there to be responded to, discussed, debated, agreed with and sometimes BS is highlighted and called out.

For the record. I did not include OBJ because he won't play another down this year. I included Teller and Chubb because they will be back.

Last week, I forgot Janovich. Milk added him and did so w/out the stupid "agenda" narrative.

He was suspended but that ended. Maybe he is upset and not coming back? Hopefully he is okay.

At first thought I felt it may just be a tantrum. However, he hasn't made his picks in the Dawg Talkers pick um pool in weeks now. Hopefully Diam or someone can let us know if he's okay.

Intoducing for The Cleveland Browns, Quarterback Deshawn "The Predator" Watson. He will also be the one to choose your next head coach.

He quit making picks the very first week of suspension, I figured he was just mad.

I wish I knew. If I had to bet their tackles and center would be high (Packers) Jones and Adams higher than Landry and Hunt, maybe even higher than Chubb.

4 of 5 OL are in the Top 10.
FB is #1
One RB is Top 5, the other is Top 20
QB is Top 15 (and rising)

Funny enough... WR is our weakest area.

You know there was a time when some might suggest that our weak WR performance is due to the struggling QB.

I'd take Chubb over any RB in the NFL - he's joint #1 in my book. I'd take Hunt over all but 5 or 6 ... We are blessed with extraordinary talent at RB. And there's a good chance I'd take D'Ernest Johnson over 75% of our RB's since the return ... but it's a small sample size we have seen.

OL has been brilliant and the ability to plug in your 3rd string RG and have him play that well against a top NFL defense says volumes about Callahan. Great to see.

To me personally the only competition Chubb has for best RB in the NFL is Henry.

Lock the man up.

Different types of backs but McCaffrey and Kamara are the two I think are as talented as Chubb just in different ways. Henry is a beast ... but I always think of him as a bit one dimensional.

For me it's still McCaffrey and then Cook (but just due to their pass-catching ability).
Then Henry as a pure grinder.
Chubb and Kamara are a push (Kamara is way more versatile, but Chubb is clearly the better runner).

Not counting Kamara's comical, never-gonna-happen 25 million cap hit on the last year of his 5-year deal, they are all pretty evenly about 12.5 million/year (discounting McCaffrey as he is essentially their slot WR as well).

I think a case can be made that CMC, Kamara, Cook, Henry are better than Chubb. The first three because of their impact in the passing game in addition to their performance actually running it. That said, Chubb has been used more in the passing game recently. I hope that continues.

That's quite interesting.

If you take the stance that you want those numbers to all be much better (duh) and use it to determine where to address things in the offseason, then it's pretty clear that the largest area that needs work is our DLine.... particularly defensive interior, and then also Safety. We're actually not too bad off at LB, DE, and CB - when healthy.

Interestingly, those are also areas we will be getting some talent back next year.

Just a quick point on the Chubb convo, he's getting his numbers on half the carries some others are getting.

The numbers aren’t cumulative so his limited snaps don’t factor in at all.

In the passing game it’s because our FS spot is crap, as well as our third and fourth CB spots.

Reasonable assumptions.

Jones is not higher than Chubb, he's 10th. Packers have 1st overall QB, WR, C and LT (Bakhtiari). Other T is 20th

Without putting in the work to post all the numbers and names, overall, Browns grade out better than the Chiefs offensively, but fairly close.

KC = QB is #2, TE #1, highest OL is Center (Reiter) at 13th, Best WR is Hill 17th overall. RBs 21st and 27th.

LB Sione Takitaki has been a bright spot in limited duty on defense, especially against the run:

Defensive grade: 71.1 (13th)
Run defense: 87.5 (2nd)

Fair play to Taki ... before the season started I thought all our LB core were second rate and I thought Wilson was the only one that might take a leap forward based on flashes of athleticism we saw last year. . . Goodson and Smith have been much better than expected. Taki has shown an ability to be physical and not be a liability.
