Probably depends on how we view Elliot and if we re-sign Larry O

"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Jeudy is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Tillman is flanked out wide to the right. Judkins and Ford are split in the backfield as Flacco takes the snap ... Here we go."

The injury happened, when... during camp, right? Like two weeks before Week 1? Something isn't adding up here, at all.

Send him to a different doc, get it fixed, IR him.

I agree. That is what I was getting at somewhere else on the board.

Not sure what is going on there?

He has been out a long time. Has practiced LP.

Seems odd that it is taking so long. They didn't IR him.

The big problem is that Rivers gets rid of the ball very quickly. We will really need for our backers and safeties to step up.

I really don't like saying this, bit im starting to feel like he is doing it on purpose. Perhaps covid is making him gun shy to play against players on different teams

exactly. When we played the Chargers ... I remember thinking two things about Rivers: he takes the entire play clock to examine the D and he gets rid of it lighting fast

I wasn't sure if you guys were right about the time to throw thing. According to NFL NextGen Stats, Rivers is holding the ball for 2.45 seconds which is 4th best in the league.

For comparison sake, Baker is last of all qbs who are ranked. He is holding it for 3.22 seconds.

What happened to Cincy Baker?

Week 2 he came out firing, decisive, accurate. It's the only game he's looked like that.

LOL - The Rish will be upset with this news as well. KS just doesn't prioritize winning...

I think he has some quick throws in all the games. I think when the first read isn't open, he is slow at going through his progressions. I've been saying that for a long time. There is some evidence to support that observation.

One thing to consider, Indy's DEs can get after the passer. Pittsburgh can bring a lot of pressure off the edge. We're going to have to get rid of the ball quicker in the next two games.

I think you have to trust the medical staff here. I'd rather have him come back fully healed than have a reoccurring or re-aggravating injury because we rushed him back a few weeks early. He's a long term investment, and we want him here for a long time. It may be 2-3 years before we see him at full potential anyway, so we might as well take good care of him now. JMHO

Any news if Karl Joseph is playing? Looking like it may be a game time decision, as I haven't seen any updates since friday.

They are going to work him out in pregame warmups to see if he can go.

I seriously question Greedy's injury. What was it? He seems to practice, then come game day he is out. IMO, this guy is a bust. I have no confidence he will ever be able to play a full year, much less be good.

RIP, Jim

Teller has to have a mri. He looked fine standing on the sideline. However from what i understand, if you tear your Achilles tendon, which joins the calf muscle to the heel of your foot, you may feel some discomfort but not necessarily any kind of excruciating pain. He looked frustrated on the sideline. I hope its not worst case scenario. Eliot, the rookie defensive tackle hurt his ankle and jordan Phillips, who just returned from injury appears to have injured his knee AGAIN. He also will have a mri.

Greedy is part-time. IR might have helped us more if we got him listed earlier. He can help us if he gets healthy. Puzzling his injury is.
