I don't really disagree with you in theory. But I think you tend to cast too wide of a net. I consider myself in the center and I believe you do too. Yet I have never called social democracy a 3rd world "socialist" dictatorship.

Maybe there's more people like myself who simply see it as a platform that can not be elected president at this time.

Much for the reason you claim but it certainly doesn't represent everyone in the middle. All of us are not your enemy.

You said you were taught to punch first if you thought they'd punch you. That seems to be an aggressive doctrine.

Following orders is also an important part of military service. While not orders, per se, you seem to stick to the "company"/party lines.

It seems your punch first approach has led you to see attacks where there aren't any. I'd argue that your punch first approach invites people to defend themselves.

Constant punching is a lousy way to operate as a society.

Twisting words? If a known bully approaches you, punch him in the mouth first. That's not just anybody.

Yeah, that sounds so complimentary of military parents.

In case you missed it, I'm not the one who is "punching first" here. But nice try. I'm damned sure punching back though.

That's true. Let me ask you this though. Do you think that it helps anything that most everything the Democratic House of congress passes only dies on McConnell's desk while he refuses to bring it to the floor for debate?

I mean if there is ever going to be a compromise on anything it first has to be brought to the floor for debate in order to even try to find a compromise.

I'm not trying to say there would be a resolution. Much like you I think everyone is too locked into their side to find a compromise. But is refusing to bring it to the floor of the senate even pretending to act in good faith?

If you're interested, I'll show you all of the judges that McConnell blocked in order to have them open for Trump when he took office in order to take over the federal court system. And no, I'm not talking about the SCOTUS.

When dealing with the apparently insane (both sides seem to like to do the same things that aren't working over and over again) and introspection incapable (at least unwilling), I suppose the term almost fits. Nope, not getting paid. Just trying to keep out of the competing asylums (mass delusions?). I'm still not a conservative.

And then call the other side snowflakes. They must pretend they don't see the tantrums Trump throws. All they had to do was look at the debate to see who is acting like a spoiled child. It's the man they support to be president.

I've never called someone a snowflake.

And yet again, you are wrong in I'm not Mr. If Masks Don't Work. I'm Mr. If Masks Work.

And for the record, I wear a mask where needed and/or required.

The perception of me on this board is a gross oversimplification to suit some posters desire to denigrate, and deligitamize me. All because of who I voted for.

I am NOT a victim of anything other than some wanting to portray me as something I am not.

The perception taken is the perception given.

I'm glad you wear a mask. Not only for yourself and your family, but for those you come in contact with as well.

In case you missed it, my comment about snowflakes was directed to OCD, not you. To avoid confusion, it wasn't directed towards you as an individual, just the double standard by those who support the same candidate you do. And let me ask you, you haven't depicted Democrats as whiners and complainers? I'm pretty sure you have.

I know you as well as others like to say you're voting for what Trump does as far as policies, not what he says or how he acts. The problem with that is, it's gotten beyond absurd. It's gotten so bad this nation has delved into a manner of division we've never seen before. He claims anyone who doesn't support him isn't a real American. That they are the enemy of the United states. Just remember on election day, that's the Trump you're voting for.

The one who tells people to commit voter fraud by voting twice, a felony. Who tells them to crowd polling locations on election day which will make the election process chaotic. The man whose life has been the exact opposite of anything that resembles the Christian values you live by.

So just remember, you're voting for that guy too.

When I vote for a president of the U.S., I am not voting for someone to guide my religious principles.

I have my own.

If, when, I need help, I have my pastor, my parents. People that have and DO live according to my beliefs. MY beliefs.

When I vote for president, I'm voting not for their personal beliefs, but rather for what I (capitalized) think they will do for the country.

Trump is not my god. Read that a second time, or a third time if need be. Get it through your head.

No, Trump only further divides our nation, lies constantly, tells his supporters to commit a felony and calls the other side unAmerican. Hate mongering is his way of life. According to your own beliefs, you will have to answer for that one day. Just think, if your daughter brought home a boy who spoke and acted like trump, you would not allow him close to her and would kick him out of your own house yet you will vote for that same type of person to be president. Job well done.

Trump further divides our nation? How about you.

And please, don't tell me what I will have to answer to/for. Ever.

And please, don't bring my daughter up. Crossing a line there. Big time.

Again, I'm not voting for a religious leader when I vote for president. If you are, good for you.

The president does not have any authority on me religious beliefs.

Oh, my daughter has brought home a boyfriend I didn't care for. Because she was raised properly, she dumped him. Not because of me. Because of HER!!

Don't bring my daughter up again.

Because they need to project all their flaws onto others. It makes them feel a little better about themselves and their wretched lonely lives.

I didn't know I was speaking to the nation on Dawgtalkers. I didn't know I was supported by less than half the American voters on Dawgtalkers. Man what a reach of epic proportions.

I only brought up how you would react if she brought someone home who acted that way. Your false sense of outrage isn't impressing anyone. I know how I would have reacted had my daughter have brought someone home who acted that way. It isn't a difficult question but nice attempt at dodging it.

Let me see if I can get at least one straight answer out if you without you trying to dodge it....

I've shown you that Trump actually told his supporters to go to the polls and watch the voting process. there are legitimate guidelines in most states that regulate the number of poll watchers and how they operate. This goes against those laws and guidelines in most every state. We both know how much doing this jam polling locations and undermine any semblance of normalcy. It will do nothing but sow chaos in the election.

We both also know he told North Carolina voters that if they sent in a mail in ballot, go to the polls to see if their vote had been counted. If not, vote again. North Carolina doesn't even start counting mail in votes until election day. So your vote will not have been counted if the poll workers even have access to that information.

So what we know by these facts is that Trump is actively trying to sow chaos in the democratic election process. We know he has actively told his North Carolina supporters to commit voter fraud by voting twice. A felony.

Now I could go back to all of the crazy and divisive things he's said and done over the past four years, but for this topic I won't.

So now let me ask you this. Knowing the man is trying to sow chaos at the polls. Knowing he has advocated his supporters in North Carolina to commit voter fraud which is a felony.... What exactly IS your line in the sand? Exactly what would Trump have to do to lose your support? How low would he have to stoop?

So far, telling his supporters to commit a felony isn't enough. You know, when Trump said.... "I could stand in the middle of 5th Avenue and shoot somebody and I wouldn't lose voters,"..... I thought that was the craziest thing a man could say. Now I'm beginning to wonder if it isn't true.

You brought up my daughter. Again. I even answered that question for you, and asked you to not bring her up again.

As to Trump: If someone, anyone, asks me to commit a felony, or even a misdemeanor, I don't do it. Period. End of discussion.

Chaos at the polls IS going to happen, and I guarantee both sides will be responsible for it. I promise it will happen, regardless of who wins.

And, regardless of who wins..or seems to win on Nov. 3rd, it will extend for weeks, maybe months. Watch.

Commission on Presidential Debates Announces that the Second Debate will be Virtual.

Trump announces on Fox News that he will not participate

EDIT: Switched out tweets on Trump to remove one that had some excess commentary.

After the last debate, it seems pretty obvious to me that he obviously wants to be able to interrupt and not be controlled by a moderator.

He'll be there. And if not, still hold it, and just have Biden taking questions.

Can't believe it's so hard for our president to NOT be such a tool.

After 3 and a half years of his presidency you still can't believe it?

So you have no problem with our president telling his followers they should commit a felony and refuse to say what your bar is for not being worthy of your vote. Obfuscation at its finest.

All I can take by your politically seeming dodge of the question is that there is no bar too low for earning your vote.

“You sit behind a computer and do a debate - it's ridiculous, and then they cut you off whenever they want.”

He's afraid they might actually enforce the rules which would prevent him from being in complete control and lacking the ability to be an azz hat. You know he wouldn't allow anyone to enforce the rules he agreed to. Fairness and the context of rules are not in his vocabulary.

Intoducing for The Cleveland Browns, Quarterback Deshawn "The Predator" Watson. He will also be the one to choose your next head coach.

Trump clearly feels as if you have to be loud and disruptive in a debate. What I think the reason for that is is because he can't do a debate while sticking to substance.

He knows that if they stick to the facts, he loses.. 100%

Now you add in the Covid thing, and it makes we wonder, was he really sick? did he really get covid? Was it just an attempt to get out of the debates? I mean, it's pretty clear he doesn't want to answer questions from a moderator.

I'd expect he'd like it even less if a Voter asked the questions and he didn't have control over who could ask what..

I still fee as if a debate without instant fact checking is a waste of time.

The only real weapon Trump has in a debate is creating chaos. That weapon is severely hampered in a remote setting. Throwing a temper tantrum and taking his ball and going home is probably his smartest move.
