The Raiders surprised everybody with the win at Arrowhead. Some drunk Vegas fan made a lot of money today.

--Man, that really sucks for Dak. Dude has never missed a game. He's done everything Jerry has asked. And still, Jerry would not give him the contract. Sad.
--SF is a Mash unit.
--The Pit/Philly game was mind-boggling. I worry that both teams could light our D up.
--Gotta give Gruden and the Raiders credit. They traded haymakers w/KC and won.
--Houston did better w/out BOB.
--I like Flores or whatever his name is in Miami. No nonsense dude.
--Man, I was so scared for Alex Smith. What a true warrior/hero. Incredible story.
--Poor Joe Burrow. The Bengals are going to either get him killed or make him eternally gun-shy. He is as tough as nails and has very good skills, but damn man, he is taking huge shots in the pocket. Reminds me of the Andrew Luck situation.

“Decisions like these are very difficult, but the previous 2 seasons and start to this one have been especially hard for me because of the deep love, admiration and respect I and my family have for Dan, Thomas and their families,” Arthur M. Blank, Falcons owner and chairman said.

I saw Arthur Blank on the sideline at the end of the ATL/Carolina game. He looked defeated. His shoulders were slumped. I was a bit worried about his heath, but it appears he was just sad he was going to make these moves. He seems like a good owner...as far as owners goes.

Russell Wilson is just playing a different game. Shows you don’t need to be tall to be a great qb, just need to be a good qb, there was like 10 throws in this game we don’t have a qb on this roster that could make them. Having metcalf would have been awesome

Man, Russell Wilson is a magician. No way can I envision Baker pulling that off. Russell Wilson is way better today than he was in his third year. Have a little patience. Baker is going to be great once the light switch goes on. And don't forget this, there will be no one to replace him with after this season especially if the Browns keep winning. BTW, what Zimmer did by not kicking the FG is an egregious fireable offense IMO.

This just really made me hope for a Seattle Vs Green Bay NFC championship game.

Look at Aaron Rogers and go... Man.. That dude is gonna be MVP.
And then you look at what Russ is doing with such a crap defense and... That man is the best player in the NFL right now

Man, Russell Wilson is a magician. No way can I envision Baker pulling that off. Wilson has had the same head coach and system in place his entire career. They had the best defense in the league his first several years. They went to the playoffs both years prior to him being drafted, and won a playoff game both years. Wilson may be the best QB in the league, but the circumstances are completely different.

That Seattle win was phenomenal... of course DK Metcalf killed me in fantasy, but Wilson is amazing

Seriously, can these guys quit bashing our quarterback? The hate is so freaking annoying especially when they have no flipping idea what they're talking about.
It's. Every. Single. Thread.

Damn I feel bad for Dak.
I have great respect for him as a quarterback and leader.
Sickening to see that kind of injury. I hope all goes well in his recovery and he comes back good as new.

Steelers:
Steelers look less scary than I'd think, They may be 4-0, but get this, I think it the Browns beat them, in this game, The Browns pretty much knock the steelers out of the playoff race.
I know that's hard to believe, but, the Steelers haven't beat anybody very tough yet in 2020, Their only road game was game 1, the Giants, 0-5,
The Steelers because of rescheduling are in their 4th straight home game, vs the Browns, (They haven't been tested.) That means after this coming game, the Steelers only play in Pittsburgh, 4 more times all year, so if the Browns beat em, this game,
The steelers would be pretty much out of the playoffs,
They have scored less than 30 points in 3 of their 4 games, and they are a team giving up 7.75 more points per game, (4 games in, same for both), than the Colts team the Browns just beat.
The steelers opponents haven't been top teams yet, this may be their first test. If the Browns Win This game; That would really mean something, even more than the records, because
The Steelers have 7 of their next 11 on the road, including at the Browns the final week.
If the Browns were healthy, I might even pick them, as it is, I'll just say, CAUTIOUSLY Optimistic.
The Recipe hasn't changed.
Can Deshaun Watson play better for the Browns, than Baker Mayfield would have? ... Now the Games count.

I think it’s fair to say that we will be Pittsburgh’s first true test of the season.
How does a league celebrating its 100th season only recognize the 53 most recent championships?

This Herbert kid looks good. I read some negative stuff about him before the draft, but those reports seem wrong. He is playing very well, especially considering the Chargers have 3 starting o-linemen out.

Herbert is way bigger and stronger than I thought. He’s impressive IMO

The Saints have squeezed out a few wins, but I personally don’t think they can do much damage this year. Brees looks, much like Rivers/Brady, like his arm is shot. Yes, he’s so intelligent and knows how to win ... but I don’t see them beating a Kansas City or Green Bay or Pittsburgh

Herbert is on pace to beat the rookie TD record, 9 in 4 games, 5 games into the season, and he's only getting more comfortable in the system.
We don't have to agree with each other, to respect each others opinion.

Agreed - Herbert looks good. He and Burrows both.
I don't know if it's a good thing or a bad thing or if it doesn't matter - but I found it odd that Herbert showed no emotion on the sidelines. None. The D made a play and he was unmoved, the kicker missed the game winning FG and he didn't express anything at all. Not a wince, not a thing. They talked about him being quiet - but I still found it odd.
The more things change the more they stay the same.
