What an INCREDIBLE game and ending. Great series thus far
"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Jeudy is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Tillman is flanked out wide to the right. Judkins and Ford are split in the backfield as Flacco takes the snap ... Here we go."

I don't watch baseball, but it wouldn't surprise me if Los Angeles didn't have the "big one" earthquake, again, during the World Series before election day. ? They aren't playing the World Series in home stadiums? Whew, Still they did have it in 1989 the San Francisco Earthquake, would it be more 2020 than to have one more thing to pile on, tragically wise before this election day controversy gets under way.

I think the Russian TV guys were just trying to figure out what was happening.

I am a bit surprised there is no talk about the World Series today.
I thought it was quite controversial.
First of all, Snell was rolling along and he was pulled because analytics told the manager that it's not a good idea to have him face the lineup the third time around. Snell was heated as he left the mound and in the dugout. The Dodgers proceeded to light up the reliever and ended up winning the game. Baseball people have been saying it was the wrong move. They are not dismissing the numbers, but they know what Snell was doing. The Dodger players admitted they were glad to see Snell taken out of the game. There is some speculation that perhaps some teams will start to re-examine the relationship of analytics and sound baseball strategy. I hope there is a marriage, because playing the game strictly by the numbers has been terrible for baseball in regards to not only strategy, but also marketing.
An even bigger story is that Justin Turner from the Dodgers was removed from the lineup during the 7th inning because he had tested positive for Covid. I believe he was isolated, but after the game, he rejoined his teammates on the field and was hugging several of them. There is video of him removing his mask and having close contact w/others. The Dodgers allowed this. It's a pretty bad look for baseball given the political climate. Then again, it is also probably indicative of what many people think about the reality of the situation. Either way, it's pretty controversial.
