I can't say enough about this guy, he may be one of the smartest WR to ever play this game. Yesterday, on the last play, he's waving Bryant up to the line. If Bryant lines up where he was, that's an illegal formation. The TD comes back and it's a 10 second runoff.
I know some people think he is overpaid and not worth it, but I think the guy has been a great addition and deserves everything he gets.

Agreed and something I would like to add. Some posters want to trade OBJ. I feel that's a bad idea. You don't trade away talent like his. You find a way to use it. We also have to get Higgins more reps. If we can move the ball and we should with our O, there should be enough reps for everyone.

I saw that. He's been directing traffic at the LOS since he got here. He had a heck of a game yesterday. Some great grabs, great vision and RAC (40 yds on two plays alone), and bullying people when blocking. Hard to choose a favorite player between him, MG and Chubb.

Landry is an unsung hero on this team.
He just gets it, IMO.
What an asset.
LOL - The Rish will be upset with this news as well. KS just doesn't prioritize winning...

I give a lot of credit to Jarvis for yesterday's win. And yes, he's definitely still overpaid.

Landry, Higgins, Bryant, Peoples-Jones, Njoku, the entire OL.... they all deserve HUGE props. Much like it was a team loss to Pittsburgh - this was a team win vs Cinci.

Great thread, dawg! Love this man's game. easy to see and understand that he is doing a bunch more than he is getting credit for doing. Hands. Period. Heart too. Every team is looking for at least one, or more ideally, players to set the bar. landry has been one unsung hero. Chubb as well. And MG for sure, all leading by example. Stefanski is blessed.

What an asset. yeah, he’s been a superb leader. He brings a lot of X factor to our team
"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Cooper is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Moore is flanked out wide to the right. Chubb and Ford are split in the backfield as Watson takes the snap ... Here we go."

These are the type of players you build a team around. Players who set the culture. Players who lead by example. Teams in the NFL do not have rosters with superstars and studs at every position. They have key players and fill in around them with players who fit within the system.
Intoducing for The Cleveland Browns, Quarterback Deshawn "The Predator" Watson. He will also be the one to choose your next head coach.

That was a beautiful throw.
There is no level of sucking we haven't seen; in fact, I'm pretty sure we hold the patents on a few levels of sucking NOBODY had seen until the past few years.

I don't think I have ever seen a bad throw from Juice.
He definitely has arm talent. OBJ does as well.

Watching it live I was shocked he got it off and was that accurate

I'm not one to say, "he is overpaid and not worth it" I'm for saying, Since he's the greatest thing since the introduction of the Cell Phone, Why couldn't I tell he was playing yesterday? When watching the game broadcast start to finish. ... This Thread ought to be, "What are the Browns going to do at WR now that OBJ is out for the season, and RB, with Chubb still out, and Hooper, and others.
Can Deshaun Watson play better for the Browns, than Baker Mayfield would have? ... Now the Games count.

agree.
He's the kind of player this team has lacked for so long.
A handful of Jarvis Landrys, and you can turn a moribund team around in a season or two. The right kind of player, leader and team mate.

After catches I am always going "please just walk away."
But I love the dude because Jarvis brings it. The guy is all effort at all times. He brings that razor's edge.
There is no doubt about his value to this team.

There is no doubt about his value to this team. It's just not $15m a year.
At DT, context and meaning are a scarecrow kicking at moving goalposts.

That is for others to decide. They have people who all they do is handle contracts.
Fair market value is always measured.
I am glad he is a Brown!

Agreed. It's not my money and given our cap situation, he's not keeping other talent off the team.

It is not always stats. In some cases a receiver will get tons of targets. Put up big numbers and the team looses.
Jarvis does a lot more than just what he catches.
He blocks as well. And he is aggressive about blocking.
He also sets an example. He prepares hard. He comes to play. He plays hurt. Has played hurt. Makes big catches when they really count. He has rapport with Baker. He creates when plays break down. He finds space to get open when Baker has to move. He plays smart.
He also is versatile. He can throw and run.
So Jarvis is a keeper. Glad he is a Brown.

Jarvis is a threat teams have to consider. He is selfless and a true leader. His mentorship with our young receivers is very valuable. His love for the team is very evident. Heart and soul of the Browns. IMO, he is very instrumental in the culture change we are experiencing.
RIP, Jim
