One thing I'm starting to think is important in the whole "GM Wars" debate is that it's less about GM vs GM, and more FO vs FO... meaning JD + Freddy is better/equal/worse than AB + KS.

Nov. 3, is the trade deadline.
Browns are 5-2 and in the hunt for a playoff spot.
The Browns have given up more points than any team except Dallas.
We need to make a move.
Obviously safety. However, I also believe more QB pressure is needed. Vernon is ok. But we need more.
The Steelers traded a first to get M. Fitzpatrick.
He has been well worth it.
Getting Harrison was a help. He is playing into a role.
But the defense needs help.
I don't who all is available or the contract status of who is. Berry knows all that.
I am looking for a trade before the deadline to help this defense.

Any moves would have to make sense over the long haul. I don't want any band-aids brought in, at this point.

For Sendejo. A MLB. Get some of this. Any help on the PS? No lead is safe with this defense. And we won't win track meets against decent, much less good, offenses. I am hoping we do some trading before deadline; and I am actually seeing the butt-end of the season to pick up some wins for PO spot and get the trades meshed with our system. Should be some fire sales somewhere in the NFL. Trust Berry and 'Ski to make a few solid trades. Not for superstars, but players.

If we don't get secondary help we're either not in the playoffs or one-and-done in the playoffs.

Eli Apple just got cut by the Panthers, should we have any interest? My thinking is why would a team cut a player just before the deadline? I think it's because they didn't want him and couldn't find anybody to offer something in trade.
