thats fine, but i wanted the ravens to lose today so we can keep pace in the WC race, due to the fact that i don't give us any shot to win the division.

Yep. Would have been in second place had we won today.

Too much to ask for against an average team I guess.

I knew it when I woke up. I was excited and pumped for today's game, it's always a let down when I feel like this. Blame today's loss on me.

Watching the Saints/Bears ... Chicago’s QB situation is just so bad. I think they’d be pretty good with an above average QB

I can't believe the Chargers blew that game. Pass interference in the endzone with a second left. Dumb.

Yeah, they had that game in hand and seemingly let up. Horrible loss for them.

The is 3 fourth quarter losses for them this year. I stopped watching them wher they became LA.

I doubt the head Anthony Lin survives...

I said it last time Wentz played a night game and I will say it again. He plays hero ball way too often. Just throw it away.

So, the Dallas qb holds the ball too long, gets sacked, and fumbles.

Just horrible! I hate dumb qb play.

Tonight’s game is most likely another dud: Bucs at Giants.

TV networks fascination ($) with the NFC east leads to boring football for me

Did anyone just see that play by Antoine Winfield? Good God! That was awesome!

I remember some of you really liking him on the pre-draft FS thread I started. Where did he go in the draft compared to Delpit and the other top safeties? I can look it up, but someone might know off the top of their heads.

A few of us really liked Devin White, the LBer out of LSU, a couple of years ago. Some said LBers aren't important anymore. This dude is killing it in the NFL. He is so fast. Constantly making plays. Great kid. TB has been making a lot of excellent moves.

I wanted White but knew we couldn’t get him where we were picking.

(He was in the draft where we didn’t have a first round pick because of the OBJ trade. We picked 17th, he went fifth.)

That was absolutely amazing.
Dude was posted at- what? The 5 yard line?

That's not just raw speed and natural talent. That's also dedication and real desire.

That kind of stuff is inspirational.

The Bucs really nailed their top picks in Wirfs and WInfield

Martinez stood out to me as well. Really aggressive and flying around

There were a number of missed opportunities in Monday night’s crushing 25-23 home loss to the Buccaneers that surely kept the Giants up late into the night and into Tuesday morning.

No sequence, however, was more exasperating than their final offensive play — a missed two-point conversion that, if converted, would have tied the game at 25-25 with 28 seconds remaining.

On the play, Giants quarterback Daniel Jones tried to connect with running back Dion Lewis in the shallow right side of the end zone and Buccaneers rookie cornerback Antoine Winfield Jr. was called for pass interference.

Side judge Nate Jones, who played college football at Rutgers and is a former Cowboys cornerback, threw the flag on Winfield, who appeared to grab Lewis’ hand as the ball arrived and bounced off Winfield’s arm.

The Giants thought they’d have another crack from the 1-yard line. They were wrong.

Referee Brad Rogers gathered the crew together for an agonizing several moments and the call on the field — one that by rule could not be reviewed on replay — was reversed. The flag was picked up, Winfield was not assessed the penalty and the game was over, the Giants falling to 1-7.

I thought he got there a smidge early ... and since they initially threw the flag, I think they should have stuck with it

I thought the same. Pretty bad pass though. Jones seems to have a hard time leading receivers, had a five yard window in the other direction.

Not only did he not lead the receiver, the pass was also thrown late.

Jones makes some beautiful throws, but makes too many mistakes and is inconsistent.

I'm not sure he's without the "upside," but he's definitely without the Mike Evans (Evans likely being a large part of why we ended up with Manziel-he makes mediocre QBs look good.)

Jameis at least knows how to get the ball out on time. He just makes boneheaded decisions.
