As for now, GA has gone blue in the presidential race. Monumental. Thank you Stacey Abrams. I wish John Lewis was alive to see this.

Biden now has the lead in Georgia and Pennsylvania.

Back from banned camp courtesy of my old friend arch... JUST IN TIME TO CONGRATULATE JOE BIDEN FOR BECOMING THE 46th President of the United States of America. I had to try so hard to keep my mouth shut and not jynx this election and just have faith that one person only could deliver this win and that person was Donald J Trump. Trump got this! He figured out how to blow it in spectacular style and act like a cry baby over losing. First thing he has done in 4 years that I actually 100% expected. Now, where do I go get my baby eating silverware sharpened? And what day did we decide on to go get all of their guns again? Final question... wasn't that fun?

No doubt. And the Q crowd will still put up crazy numbers for their guy. Will probably be like this every 4 years for a while. I guess the establishment Dems better do some soul searching too because they need progressives to have a future.

Final question... wasn't that fun? In retrospect...yes. Admittedly though, it was a nail-biter. I know that it's not quite official yet, but hark, I do believe I hear the Fat Lady singing.

Oh yea, and if you conservatives wanna riot. Go ahead. We prefer that method over storming government buildings and trying to kidnap elected officials.

I know you're trying to be funny in this post, but no, it wasn't fun at all. The polls were way off. We see how sad the state of division is in our country. We saw a president go on TV and promote baseless accusations because he's a petulant child, and the ripple effect of that is we saw some Republicans stand up to him (which made me feel good) and others opportunists like Cruz and Graham further his ridiculousness. Has it been interesting and captivating? Yes. Has it been fun? No, not at all. Btw, I don't know if anyone saw Andrew Yang's interview on the issues with the Democratic party? I agree with it wholeheartedly and I think it flows with what Swish and I were discussing yesterday.

No, he just reported the post that nobody else cared about. I didn't know that generalizations were name calling... But who cares really, the rules change in here depending on which side of the aisle you are from. I get called all kinds of crap all the time and those posters just never seem to get a ban break. Except Vers, he gets banned.

I think skewing the polls is a new republican tactic, just not sure why it is happening and exactly how. But those are the 64 million dollar questions at this moment.

Of course! It's always about the budget when a dem is elected... The GOP spends like drunken sailors when they control the oval. And with the millions hurting due to covid only a complete fool starts to worry about the debt before they worry about money to help the people who just saved their ass in an election.

I agree, but we do need to address it. Both sides. It has to start some where. But yes, complaining about the debt every time the opposing side is elected is old and tired.

Only one side does this... Democrats are basically silent about the Debt during Republican administrations. Also, with interest rates that are negative, debt is legitimately not bad now...

Those are actually all great points. You get some dems making opportunistic squawking when R is in office, but the overall group is fairly silent. Great point about interest rates.

Mark Kelly beats McSally in AZ.
Oddly enough, control of the senate might come down to GA. What a crazy election cycle.
What a crazy year.

Dunno.
But for the sake of the country, the best scenario would be for him, Hillary, comey, and his family to just go away.
Go retire in Florida or his tower in NYC. Hillary and comey go retire on the beach somewhere and stay out of politics, so we as a nation can move on and try to heal.
Endless investigations into trump is something that would continue to divide the country.
Yes, it would be letting the spoiled rich kid off the hook, like has happened his entire life, but so be it.
Just. Go. Away.

I don't care about the interest rates. $27 trillion dollars is bad. And the interest rates will change in time. I don't care who is in office, we need to address it. Surprisingly, the deficit generally goes down under Democrats and up under Republicans, but there is still a huge deficit.

But that wouldn't happen and you know it. Trump is positioned to be the leader of the GOP well beyond this election. I think you HAVE to take him down legally if you can. I don't really care if he or his kids go to jail, I just don't want to see Jr. or Ivanka on the 2024 ballot. So the prosecution IMHO will be part of the healing and insurance against another Trump ERA.
