This popped up as a Youtube recommendation. Lo and behold, it was a Browns game. How many of us thought Brady Quinn might be our qb after this game? VIDEO

I remember being so angry after this loss because of how well we played
"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Jeudy is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Tillman is flanked out wide to the right. Judkins and Ford are split in the backfield as Flacco takes the snap ... Here we go."

Would Culpepper have been able to make the same play when he briefly came in for Stafford or even get the TD at the very end? Who knows. All I know is that when Stafford came in with the injured arm, I got that familiar sinking Browns feeling. That loss hurt the most among a few that season (first Cincy game, Chargers game).

So first of all... that game was awful. It was a slapfight that came down to the wire. CBs just watching receivers running past them. Pathetic tackling. Just straight up not covering underneath stuff. Culpepper would've gotten in. They would've sneaked it with him in there.

I remember already being in a depression about how bad we were, then this game kicked it in full when it was over. We still have a long way to go, but I hope those dark days are behind us.

The Golden Era of Unwatchable Browns Football Those names... dear God, I couldn't stop the ironic, bitter chuckle.
