They have not done that in the past unless the problem is more widespread.

They dont want to release the name or names of the players. However, dont they have to put them on the injury report immediately?

They have to put them on the COVID list at some point.

Wow yeah, speedy recovery to Hubbard.

Lucky for Browns Teller is back or we'd be in a heap of trouble with Hubbard out too.

Is he, in fact, back? He was practicing but I thought there was still question as to whether he'd play.

Hubbard is a pretty important (but yeah, it definitely could've been much worse for the team on Sunday) as evidenced by the amount he's been on the field so far this season (when filling in as a starter AND when all of our starters are healthy).

This still hurts. Not only is our o line depth thin, but many times this year when teller was healthy we would actually line Hubbard up as a TE. Basically just adding a sixth lineman for our power running game

Oh I dunno, on Cleveland Browns Daily they seemed full steam ahead, but I guess yeah it hasn't been 100% confirmed by the coach yet. Really hope he is though, we need him badly if Hubbard can't go

Best news possible given the circumstance

Exactly my thought. There are several guys I would rather have sit than Hubbard.

I do wish him a speedy recovery. Hopefully asymptomatic.

How does a league celebrating its 100th season only recognize the 53 most recent championships?

He has to self isolate for ten days. Which means he misses the eagles game next week to.

This is going to sound more snippy than I intend, but we (fans) really aren't entitled to any info at all.

But more to your point (I assume), I think it is annoying that they announce they've sent someone home and closed the facility, but then take their sweet time identifying who it was. Maybe they only put out the minimal amount of info until they've fully followed through on their reaction protocols (contact tracing, etc).

Dangit!

Hoping for a quick and uneventful recovery for him. Have we heard about how Hubbard is doing? Also hoping we aren't kicking off a mass spread in our facility.

This one hurts our gameday roster a little bit more. Suppose we could shuffle Hunt in there a little bit like last season. Do we have a heavy TE or a light guard that wants to bang for a week or two?

This sucks. There is no way we can keep winning with this going on. Both chubb and hunt probably be out for next 10 days now to. Hubbard already out for the eagles game....its always something...we just cant get a break

Only one player tested positive, Janovich. After contact tracing they might sit down some other player but they would be back before the end of the week if they don’t test positive. The sky is not falling (yet).

True, but all the contact he had during the game would dictate the odds are that he infected other players. It's bad enough he is a key part of our running game
