If the clock started for them today, there's no way they can play on Sunday.

Sooo...the Eagles will be without their 4th and 5th receiver options?

This is like the Browns putting Hodge and Taywan Taylor on the covid list.

"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Cooper is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Moore is flanked out wide to the right. Chubb and Ford are split in the backfield as Watson takes the snap ... Here we go."

This means Garrett will miss next game versus jags also. Is it safe to say playoff chances are pretty much gone?

Unfortunately with our roster we mind as well just put a sack of potatoes out there at defensive end.

The Eagles have given up over 30 sacks so far this season. So even with us taking a hit not having Garrett, hopefully we can still get some pressure on Wentz.

From Baker's comment about soup and crackers and whatnot, I think symptoms started on Tuesday or Wednesday. Even if, by some miracle, he made it back for the JAX game, COVID is pretty dang nasty for most people and I can't believe he'd be at 100% or close to it.

I thought the 10 day rule doesnt start until the player is put on the covid list. That's why Hubbard missed last weeks game and also this weeks game.

It hasn't been confirmed, but I think it's safe to assume that Garrett tested positive (not just a contact tracing thing).

Yep, a loss this week and one next week and that will end the playoff talk. GOOD thing we didnt make any trades for players on defense (rolls eyes)

Those games also coincided with Hue Jackson and Freddie Kitchens being in charge.

Just crunching some numbers...

So now over 5% of the NFL has tested positive.
45% of the positive cases are within the last 20 days.
Things are going to get ugly.

Looking at that through the lens of the safeguards put in place for NFL teams/players.... If that doesn't give you at least a healthy respect for this virus, nothing will.

Well our best defensive player on a team where our 2nd best wouldn't be anything to write home about on another team with good defense out for 2 games, Wentz will get back on track.. we have noone else to get to qb. Almost all the sacks not made by garrett have been caused by Garrett. Going to be a rough one

I’m super bummed. We all are.

With that I’m going to step back and put the focus where it should be.

Myles, I wish you the best of health. I hope you kick this virus quickly. I hope you recover fully. I hope you don’t become a victim of the virus as a long hauler like so many others in this country have.
Be well. Come back when you’re fully ready to kick some arse again.
