I agree. Many of his pitches have been on the outside of the plate or in the ground. If our guys stay more patient, we can get ahead in the count where Beckett has to throw strikes.

Too early to write CC off. Another run maybe, they think about taking him out.

Looks can be deceiving bro We caught a break. A play that the Bo SoX will add to their wall of shame with Buckners grounder

Manny should of kept running at least to second or third. A single there would of got him home for a third run.

No kidding ... I'm not even sure why he's posting on here.
According to him, our season's been over twice already when we played the Yankees in August, and again in October. Everyone on our team has been garbage to him at some point, manager included.

That was a pretty awful inning having to listen to the broadcast. The first part was a run-down of what's going on with the Yankees ... the second half was them looking for every possible way to bust Manny's butt.

And I don't understand why they can't figure out that the ball hit the very corner of the wall on the yellow. If it hits the top it bounces into the stands, if it hits the front it goes into the ground. If it hits the corner, it does exactly what it did. Do they not understand basic physics?

That wasn't a HR. Ground rules state that. Not sure why you think otherwise but the ball clearly hit the yellow line on the wall and that isn't a HR. That line is only there to help the umpires, it doesn't mean if you hit it that it's an HR.

I am "Homer," but I don't think Manny got screwed. The ball has to travel "over" the fence; this ball hit the top and came back in. Had it bounced into the stands behind, I would agree it would have been a home run.
Just my opinion though.

No, it has to go over the line ... the line is just there to help the umps see that part of the wall.

because i have been right about every player i've griped about, you probably don't have a very high comprehension level so i won't bother again. But hafner, sucks, barfield, sucks, nixon sucks, and westbrook for the most part has, and that has been true, So because i'm a fan i'm not allowed to be critical? I've been to 3 games in the playoffs so far, and we've won all 3. but i'm not so blind to see that certain players are just not bringing it. And wedge made quite a few bad calls in the season. Sure he's been great in the playoffs and i'm very impressed how he's held them together. I'll gladly eat crow on that, but my others are right on..57mil for hafner was a HUGE mistake. You mean to tell me he's worth more than ortiz(52mil)..lol that's laughable. but w/e, they need to get there caca together and win this, if it goes to boston...ouch

Why? If you watch baseball Beckett has had that same look for years.
The guy is a talented pitcher and would take him and add him to our roster in a heartbeat. Don't hate a guy for no reason, he's damn good.
