Thanksgiving Day Football ... one of my favorite traditions.
The nightcap, Baltimore at Pittsburgh ... sadly we have to root for the Steelers (if the game is even played of course)
"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Jeudy is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Tillman is flanked out wide to the right. Judkins and Ford are split in the backfield as Flacco takes the snap ... Here we go."

Detroit just fumbled. And now Houston gave it right back.
I guess it really is a time for giving.

Texans vs Lions is a game with close to no implications.
Scientists have long searched for absolute zero. Those scientists, are paying close attention to the lack of meaningfulness of this games outcome.

They should shift their attention to Hue Jackson.
Browns is the Browns
... there goes Joe Thomas, the best there ever was in this game.

I always thought Matt Stafford was an elite level QB, but he looks pretty bad today.

How many first round picks would you give up for DeShaun Watson? I’d trade at least three.

That was a beautiful deep ball to Fuller.
So, do the Lions fire Patricia tonight or tomorrow?

LOL - The Rish will be upset with this news as well. KS just doesn't prioritize winning...

How many first round picks would you give up for DeShaun Watson? I’d trade at least three. Maybe one because he's a great leader and a winner but he's a backyard football QB. He's much better off script. I just don't know if that is sustainable.

Washington seems better than when we played them. Gibson and McLauren are good players

So, what happens now? Lamar Jackson tests positive for COVID ... do they move the Balt/Pitt game?

They will have to play without him like we are without Garrett ... we’ll see .. the rumors say the Ravens won’t re-convene until Monday or Tuesday, which obviously would PPD the Steeler game

GC. Listening to all this broadcast espn about the Ravens and covid.
" The Titans who had their outbreak in October"
.. So the Titans had their outbreak in October, and today the Ravens have 4 new covid positives, so 11 players, in all, 4 new this week, ...
And, I recall, um the Ravens just came out of an Overtime game with, "The Titans",
In October, the only game that got moved was because the Titans had an outbreak, but they moved 3 games because of it, but the only outbreak was the Titans, if, I recall correctly.
Interesting, the largest quantity, (at least as advertised) outbreak, this week, The Ravens, are the team that just finished a game with the outbreak team from October.
And What that could mean, exponentially, (if multiple teams start outbreak spreading to more multiple teams, ((like a reversed march madness bracket)) ... 35-40 positives per team all 32 teams by late January? Ok, 25 teams ... 18-25 teams with 16-38 avg. positives by late January would be un doable.
Can Deshaun Watson play better for the Browns, than Baker Mayfield would have? ... Now the Games count.

They got screwed out of their bye week because of Tennessee. They ended up getting like three days off.

So, what happens now? Lamar Jackson tests positive for COVID ... do they move the Balt/Pitt game? You know that's going to happen. Fine by me. Jackson starting guarantees a Steeler win. And yes, I am pulling for the Steelers in this. The Ravens spent an entire season of displaying poor sportsmanship last year, from the head coach on down to the players. It's coming back on them now. Plus, they are our competition for the wild card.

I recall a lot of posters wanted him for our HC - LOL. Awful, just plain awful. I am guilty as charged on this. McCarthy was my first choice. I just don't think the success he had in Green Bay was by accident or all because of Rodgers. I can't wrap my head around that concept. But he's been really bad. I can't wrap my head around that either. The NFL has either outgrew him or he's done a terrible job hiring assistants. Maybe both.

I think it's a combination of the fact that Aaron Rodgers really did buoy him, combined with the fact he hasn't evolved his game with the league.
Now, their offense was doing very well with Prescott in there, but McCarthy has never shown the ability to use a running back effectively.
I really feel like he struggles to adapt his scheme around his players, and he is hyperfocused on offensive coordinating, and he just makes some real BONE-headed decisions as a head coach. When your offense is humming, not-yet outdated, and you have a first ballot HOFer at QB, a lot of those deficiencies get swept under the rug.

This means the Ravens Thursday night game versus the Cowboys will be moved as well. A chance for players to get back.

Tuesday at Pittsburgh Monday vs Dallas Monday at Cleveland

So Ravens schedule will be:
Tuesday at Pittsburgh Monday vs Dallas Monday at Cleveland I'm still skeptical that they will actually play Tuesday.
