Pretty big chunk of the country

"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Jeudy is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Tillman is flanked out wide to the right. Judkins and Ford are split in the backfield as Flacco takes the snap ... Here we go."

Same here. We've been spoiled in Cincy since the Cowboys game.

Hopefully this isn't too off-topic, but when I moved here (and was working up near Dayton) I was shocked how small the Bengals 'territory' actually is.

I agree. I work at the base and there is quite a good percentage of Browns fans there. I'd say at least 50/50.

I don't think you can even say that Dayton is the boundary, based on the jerseys worn by the local guys. I saw more Browns AND Steelers jerseys than Cinci ones.

Dayton screws us up a good bit. I know where all the jerseys are for Cincy ("The Other Ohio Team"). They apparently warehouse all their gear at Kroger's. Piles of it, again, every year. Won't carry our stuff here; can't sell theirs. Annual event.

It’s even local out here. A rare treat.
I’ve been hosting the game for three buddies at my place... outdoors/in my outbuilding with the two big doors and window open, socially distanced, and masked up. One guy is my neighbor who grew up in the house next door as Browns fan. (He bought the house off his folks. He’s 63.) His dad was a Oregonian but loved Jim Brown. So I randomly have a Browns fan next door. Over the years he’s rarely gotten to watch them unless they happened to be on TV. He’d listen on internet radio and such but was raising a family and didn’t have time to run off to the bar every weekend. So it’s been great for him to be able to watch every week. The old poster PDX is my buddy. I met him through here but also the local Browns Backers when he was their president. He comes by. Lastly the first guy I met when I went to my first Portland Browns Backer supported Browns’ game, when I first moved to Portland 19 years ago, has been a friend ever since. Since the bars are essentially shut down and/or are dangerous places to spend 3 hours every weekend, both he and PDX come over. It’s been great to be able to share my Direct TV feed with them. They buy the occasional pizza and bring wood for the fireplace in the outbuilding as ‘payment’. Puts pizza in my belly and keeps me from having to burn all my wood.
The only downside for me is I go from watching on a 55” tv in my livingroom to a 32” in my outbuilding.
Even though the game is on locally they’re all coming over anyway. We have a good time in the Dawg Pound West.

cry us a river, bro.

Here in NW OH (Toledo), our local CBS affiliate is shut down, while they negotiate a new contract. This comes after being pre-empted by the freakking Lions two weeks in a row.

So, we have been able to see exactly ONE televised CLE game in the past month.

During a season that finds the Browns in the strongest WC position of the year, and the first winning season since -7.

Marvelous.

You should be good. It's Direct TV that has the issue with CBS.

And Clem, if you have a digital antenna you can get the game on WTOL. I had one when 24 and Buckeye were feuding, and it pulls the local channels in very well. You don't need an expensive one, the cheapo Walmart antenna's work very well if you're within 25 miles or so of the station.

arch, you'll be fine as long as your signal doesn't come through WTOL 11. I think that Dish might be effected like us AT&T custimers.

To find out, just tune in to any show that's currently playing now on CBS. If you get the show, you're good to go on Sun. If you tune in and get the 'blue screen of death,' you'll have to make other arrangements.

PM me if you get no joy from CBS- I got your solution.

thanks for the reminder

I think I have a set that I bought back during those Buckeye days. Gotta dig through tons of cobwebs and electronic spaghetti, but doable.

I think mine is a $20 Radio Shack model.

Get the NFL Ticket... or you'll miss at least 2-3 games each and every year.

I'm a miser, so I have to try other avenues.

Do you really get access to all those channels? Like every sports team and every premium channel? Is that legal?

Does anyone know if DirecTV Sunday Ticket will be showing the game? Our local channel WBNS channel 10 is blacked out. I tried hooking up an antenna to see if I could get the station and I get all local channels except 10.Don't know why that is. Where can I watch the game on my home computer if it isn't on DirecTV Sunday Ticket. This is one game I really don't want to miss.
