I know Ravens Pittsburgh was actually week 12 - but wanted to highlight something:

Even though it was a scrappy game and the Ravens were really impacted by CV-19 issues .... I think everyone must have noticed how both defenses jumped off the screen as being more physical and fast than the Browns have looked at any time in the season. I think the Ravens had backups along the DL - and yet they were constantly pushing back into Ben with 4 or 5 guys rushing. By comparison it seems our D always looks a step slow and rarely dominates at the point of attack. This was the single biggest thing I took away from the game - and honestly it bodes badly for when the Browns play both teams. . . . Vernon has stepped up with MG out - and obviously MG is a force... but it *feels* to me like collectively we have a lot more talent and a lot less consistent success than we should.

Better QB play would go a long to mitigating those weaknesses.

It’s tough for me to keep track which Baltimore guys played, which didn’t due to injury, and which didn’t due to Covid. We’ll assume whoever CAN play WILL play against us

I think both teams were starting backups on the OL, too, and most backup OL aren't very good while also lacking chemistry/cohesion. I'm guessing that played some part in the DLs jumping off the screen. Both defenses are good up front, but our OL can be pretty good when they are clicking as well.

GC. Go Cowboys by the way.

The Wednesday, SNF announcers twice referenced Balt. had all their DB's healthy, at least until one went out during the game.

It’d be nice to have the Bengals upset the Phins, and the Texans best the Colts. It’d push those two teams further down the wildcard slot.

If Deshaun Watson and the Texans can come alive to rise up and beat the Colts not just this week but 4 weeks from now, that'd be great; but I hear they lost a big receiver.

Best WR and DB suspended 6 games due to PEDs... Colts should easily beat the Texans...even at home... but who knows... maybe Watson and JJ have crazy games....

The Raiders are losing to the Jets one week after getting boat raced by the Falcons.

Raiders, Colts, and Dolphins all hold serve

The Raiders winning that game is the stupidest thing I've seen this season.

Really thought it was going to be a near perfect day because I really thought the Texans were going to win that game. Other than us winning, nothing went right that would have helped us.

Damn colts and dolphins still won....as long as the colts dont have a better record than us when the season is over we will be ok since we own the head to head on them. One thing I know. I DONT want to see us have to play the titans in the playoffs

as it stands right now, we're the 5th seed, they're the 4th... we'd play @Tennesee the first week of the play offs.

Darn...well then if we have a better or same record as titans then they will be out. Wont have to play them correct?

Wrong. If they win their division, they are in, no matter what anyone else outside their division does.

I feel like Cam has to muster every ounce of strength he has to throw the ball. It's painful watching him throw. I never expect it to get to the receiver.

I'm curious how much is him being trash and how much is the offense he's being asked to run. I mean, his OLine is straight garbage, so if they're calling lots of slower developing routes or the WRs are running poor routes while he has a shortened panic clock running in his head because he's running for his life, it's kinda a recipe for disaster (one that we've seen first hand).

Right, I meant if they dont win thier division. However now that I think of it qe would still have to play them first round. Man, I honestly dont want to have to play them first round. Would love to see us play the Bill's first round

That's my point too. The Steelers and the Ravens are playing the same schedule, but nobody is poo pooing their records. Teams with a lot of wins always beat a lot of bad teams. The NFC teams are all padding records against bad teams.

We are 9-3, that's all that matters. We just went on the road and beat a very good team convincingly. We deserve to be in the conversation.
