Does the loss to the Jets hurts his CotY chances?

There is no level of sucking we haven't seen; in fact, I'm pretty sure we hold the patents on a few levels of sucking NOBODY had seen until the past few years.

I figured Cincy would keep Taylor

Not that I think it will happen, but. There seems to be some ( although not nearly as much as Urban Meyer, Lincoln riley etc) talk about Dabo Swinney making the jump to the NFL. I wonder what the chances of him even being interested in the Jacksonville coaching job are?

When have the Bengals ever been aggressive in free agency?

If Kwesi Adofo-Mensah gets hired as a GM, we get two 3rd-round comp picks, right? That would soften the blow from losing him.

Anthony Lynn fired. That would be a job I’d want with Herbert

12 million is the same annual salary as Bill.

You'd think a good head coach would be worth more, really.

Joe Schobert got 12 million just as a signing bonus.

The Jaguars, Jets, and Chargers are all pretty good jobs. I’d take the Chargers over the other two. Herbert is already a stud and they have Bosa on defense.

Herbert played well for sure. FAR FAR better than what I expected after watching him play at Oregon. FAR better. That said Wentz looked like a stud at one point also. I’ll hold off calling any rookie QB a stud after his first season.

I’d take Jacksonville and my choice of QB in the draft. Better tax rates in Florida as a millionaire too.

Jason Garrett interviewed with the Chargers (or is going to)

Wentz is the exception not the rule though. If a rookie QB performs as well as Herbert did then chances are they are going to be at least that good and probably improve. For me, I’d rather have Herbert whose talent level I know over the crapshoot of the draft.

If I were the Chargers, I’d go after Bienemy or Daboll or someone who can really turn Herbert into his full potential

Elway stepping down as GM of the Broncos. Will remain president of football operations. Keeping the Broncos coach, will hire a GM. Coach and GM will report to Elway. Sounds like he took a page from the Haslam playbook.

It's supposed to be hard! If it wasn't hard, everyone would do it. The hard... is what makes it great!

Elway or the owner (?) realizing ol’ horse face sucks at picking franchise QBs. Paxton Lynch, Drew Lock, and a trail of tears worth of crappy free agents... only Manning with his blown out arm could win for Mr Ed.

I didn't see a GM/Executive discussion going so I'll put this here. Unless it should be in 'Everything Else' because it is pure comedy.

Yikes. And there are plenty of other black dudes this time around so it doesn’t seem like a token interview. Maybe they are interviewing him to ask him what he did so that they can do the opposite?

And it’s not like Elway chose Manning. Manning dictated that whole process.

Naw, just look at that body of work:

Drafting players sight unseen

Texting the sidelines during a game

Johnny Manziel
