Browns roster move

Claimed: WR Marvin Hall

Hall had been in the Lions' rotation for a chunk of this season and had 17 catches and 2 TD. He was waived last Friday.

I like it

"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Cooper is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Moore is flanked out wide to the right. Chubb and Ford are split in the backfield as Watson takes the snap ... Here we go."

While averging 21.1 yards per catch over his career. ( 5'10, 190, ((shorter, fast, Frismond Jackson)).

Rollin Rollin Rollin, Rollin Rollin Rollin, Rawhide!

( I've got to stop posting, "injury report" maybe they're reading) Oh the Huge Manatee.)

Can Deshaun Watson play better for the Browns, than Baker Mayfield would have? ... Now the Games count.

known for making big plays, wide receiver Marvin Hall's time in Detroit appears to be coming to an end.

According to an NFL Network report, Detroit is planning to waive the speedy wideout.

"Detroit wants to give some of the younger guys a look. Hall could garner interest on waivers," tweeted NFL Network reporter Mike Garafolo.

In 11 games this season, Hall has secured 17 receptions for 290 yards and two touchdowns.

The veteran wideout became popular in town, as a result of his speed and propensity to catch the deep ball.

Unfortunately, he also struggled with drops and inconsistency in interim head coach Darrell Bevell's offense.

Detroit is likely planning to get an extended look at 2020 fifth-round draft pick Quintez Cephus down the stretch.

j/c:

I kinda like it too.

Nothing major, but adds legit depth for our WRs. Still...a FA at the end of the year, I believe.

Perhaps an upgrade to Tawan Taylor (still on the roster?) and Hodge. And I have no clue what the injury deal is with Hodge.

Taylor has a neck injury and Hodge is day to day with a hammy.

Does he return kicks?

Have we made corresponding cuts for him and Tedric Thompson or do we have spots with guys still on the COVID reserve?

Browns' KhaDarel Hodge: Won't play in Week 13

by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire
link
Hodge (hamstring) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Titans, Mary Kay Cabot of The Cleveland Plain Dealer reports.

Hodge seems to have suffered this hamstring injury in practice this week, and it will unfortunately keep him out of action Sunday. With fellow wide receiver Taywan Taylor (neck) also sidelined, Jarvis Landry, Rashard Higgins and Donovan Peoples-Jones are the only healthy receivers left on the Browns' roster, but the team is expected to activate either Derrick Willies or Ja'Marcus Bradley off the practice squad for additional depth.

Geez, I forgot we added Willies back....

Honestly, I'm not too worried about it. If we somehow ended up dressing only 3 WRs for the game, then that's different... but we still have plenty of mouths to feed on this offense. Hodge is good for a couple clutch catches per game, but I think KS could just as easily dial up those plays for our TEs.

There is no level of sucking we haven't seen; in fact, I'm pretty sure we hold the patents on a few levels of sucking NOBODY had seen until the past few years.

That's a pretty darn good list of WR's. The foundation has been made for this team now all we have to do is build on it.

It's not bad. With Odell up in the air, I wouldn't be surprised to see us take a wide receiver in the first round

I'm sorry, did you say a pass-catching LB? LOL

When does he clear protocols and is available to play?

How does a league celebrating its 100th season only recognize the 53 most recent championships?

Apparently Hall ran a 4.28 at his pro day. This is the type of receiver we need to take the top off a defense.

I have not heard anything yet, BUT it looks like he won't be available until at least week 16 of the NFl season.

I think it takes six days for players to clear when changing teams.

just read it and was going to post that.

Could be a good Jett Motion guy on our run plays. give him the ball to break outside and then they got to soften up on Chubb/ Hunt.

4.28 is nice - Go Long son, Go Long!!! lol laugh

Hmmm... Great speed, quick and twitchy...

Maybe Hodge was supposed to mimic Lamar Jackson in practice this week and now this is "plan B". Looks like he threw a few passes in college (3/3 91 2TD).
